Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks is quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks. Spider-Man and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) join forces to fight the havoc unleashed across the continent but all is not as it seems.

I remember when I was watching this movie it was up until the point Peter accidentally pulled the projector off a drone that part of me actually thought that the MCU had gone for a spin where Mysterio was from another universe and was a good guy there.

@@zacharyhsieh9358 I mean yeah look at 2:36 the flamethrowers are being used to burn Spidermans webs mid air. Yes its webbing to its probably weak to flames to begin with but we've seen the webs at least withstand heat before meaning its at least hot enough that it can burn it in an instant

This movie was really good but Quentin Beck's supervillain monologue/celebration toast ruined their good streak. You can see little hints of his tricks before then, e.g. the bullet cracks on the windshield that looks nothing like the impact of energy blasts. The movie might've worked better if they just cut away with every background character frozen in place and Quentin grinning slyly.

@@LeonardoKlotz this movie is the effect of Tony’s death on Peter. It’ll disrupt the story flow if they just brushed that off because Tony was very Important to Peter. His parents and his uncle Ben died. He only had Tony and May as a parental figure. Just like in Tobeys Spiderman one it was about coming to understand his uncle bens last words, this movie is about understanding that Spider-Man won’t be the next Iron man, because he’s already Spider-Man.
