I'd watched this movie in theaters three times by the end of opening day and cried during all three showings. I don't know how, but this movie hit home with me harder than any movie I have ever seen, any book I've ever read, or any story I've ever heard. I was already out to my parents by the time I watched the movie, but it inspired me to come out to everyone. It's also inspired me to seek a love story of my own; to go meet new people, similar to me or not, and to be myself around them. I literally don't know words that can praise this movie as much as it deserves, and certainly not without coming across as excessive, but it was more than I could ever have hoped for.

I related so much to your comment. I was just expecting to see a heartwarming movie, but I left the theater not able to describe what I was feeling about the whole story.

I just wish I could forget watching this film so I can watch it for the first time again and again and again. Because I know it's never going to feel as great as the first time I saw it. But that isn't going to stop me from watching it every day this week

I became aware of this film in late 2020. I loved this film. It's beautiful. A beautiful, soft and necessary love story for today when there are still many prejudices. I am a huge fan of Nick Robinson, because he is a fantastic actor and every character he plays does so with great care. Simon is smart and passionate. There is no way not to root for him. Nick deserves a lot of success. Kisses from Brazil.
