Nick getting progressively angrier at each crazy flavor of peeps is the best part

I grew up extremely poor. My parents couldn't afford Christmas let alone Easter. I was around 12 and woke up Easter morning (not excited) It was just another Sunday morning. My sister and I had Easter baskets and we were so excited just to get low quality chocolate and one small can of mtn dew. It might seem really stupid and common but from someone who grew up with nothing it was like winning the lotto. The icing on the cake tho was my mom was in contact with someone at her job that had kittens...me and my sister got two kittens that morning and it is one of my greatest memories and I am close to 40.

It's been months of this already, but it still cracks me up every time Nick puts his hand behind a huge package like he's trying to focus the camera.

The best use of peeps is peep wars. You stick a toothpick in the front of two peeps and put them on a plate facing each other. Leave a little room between them because when you microwave them, they expand. So you and a friend choose a peep, microwave them, and when they expand eventually one of the peeps will pop the other one.

You are too young to rmember such such things.. but when I was a child, my mother will fill us the plastic L'eggs pantyhose containers with candy and use them for Easter egg hunt. We have a yard full of daffodils, so I would go out every year and find my candy hidden in the daffodils. IT was so wonderful.

Nick, Nick, Nick...I agree with you that the idea of "flavored" Peeps is beyond ridiculous. But to pan the original product is sacriligeous! Like you the "out-of-the-package" consistency is a bit "soft. I like to slit the top cellophane packaging and then leave the package in a cupboard for a week or so for the Peeps to harden up some. Delicious!

I'm one of those monstrous peeps who love Peeps🐥and the peeps they rode in on. The key is to slit open that package and expose them to air for no fewer than 72 hours in order to achieve the desired texture. I tried Dr. Pepper, Cotton Candy, and Party Cake Peeps this year and they were nothing to write home about. The Dr. P. had a bit of kick but pale in comparison to Hot Tamale, although they're similar-ish in color. The pickins were slim at the CVS and Rite Aid near me. My favorite of the novelty flavors is Hot Tamale. I even e-mailed Just Born imploring them to continue producing the flavor and they assured me that they would. I didn't see them at CVS or Rite Aid this holiday season. I was de-va-sta-ted. But I'll try to stalk them down at other stores-perhaps on sale after Easter, or buy them on the dark web if need be. 🕵‍♀

Guns and Easter...just your classic Easter combo. And Nick, you are not alone as I also hate Peeps. Always have, always will. Here's another thing you could review. Last week at Target I saw shelf-stable Dunkin Donuts coconut-lime creamer, to which you are supposed to add Dr. Pepper. The thought of that alone almost made me vomit!
