Waiting patiently for the S27 Pro Max Ultra vs iPhone 20 Pro Max Ultra. That's really the one to watch for. The biggest questions being: Will Samsung ditch the S-Pen? And will Apple then include the Pencil, forcing Samsung to bring back the S-Pen? And will Apple have an under screen Dynamic Island to match Samsung's inevitable under screen punch hole? Or will Huawei force Apple and Samsung to merge into Applesung, just to stay competitive?

I am looking forward for your urgent help.🙏🙏🙏🙏 I have nothing but 2 phones and when I look carefully at the notifications on white background and in light mode, I can clearly see the pixels but this happens more when I pay attention, I cannot understand it normally. I have tested all the screens, everything is normal. If you look carefully you can see pixels and flickering. I do not have any other AMOLED phone so that I can compare them. Please if you have NP2 or any other AMOLED phone, please tell me whether it is normal or I have a problem with my display. I have full hope that you will understand my problem and help me because only you can help me. Please compare NP2 with your phone and see if the same thing is happening in your phone as well. I got a fake charger with which I charged my phone for 6 months. Is this problem not because of that?

How does a glass screen protector effect the anti glare coating on the S24U? Is it still noticably better than other phones or does the effect get lost?

I’m using the Samsung provided non glass version which has no effect on it, the tempered glass screen protectors will likely add glare as that is a cheap glass

@GAMERGEBITER I tested it. I had samsungs official anti glare tpu. I just felt uncomfortable not having an actual glass protector as my previous s23 ultra cracked twice! It sadly adds reflections to the point where it negates the anti reflection screen. A price to pay to have my phone better protected!

Nick do you have the grainy display issue on s24u? You can see it when u use the phone on 10-30% brightness and low ambient/ room lighting or no lighting at all. Many people have complained about that issue and have also posted pictures of the issue. The thing is i asked Samsung service about it and they don't acknowledge the issue as hardware defect so its not covered by warranty and they say it got fixed by the vividness slider wich is a whole different thing that really got addressed but the grainy issue still exists and i want to buy the phone without defective display and im really afraid ill get a defect.. and Samsung will be like oh thats no defect we will fix it in software (again) .. So yeah can u please make a video to explose Samsung on that IF u have the issue please.

The thing that gets me with Samsung is the keyboard and how the screen responds. I also don’t get big phones and only compared the 15 to the s23 base models. I’m sure the ultra would be a lot better seeing that it’s bigger but I just don’t want that big of a phone

Dex is just Android desktop. If you want to run Desktop apps, you can run Windows or Linux in a virtual environment from the phone.

No - but I've been happily using DeX for university work for the past three years. I use 365 online and it's totally fine. Desktop apps is something you'd be better getting a standard computer for if you really need them. But I would caution that even Microsoft are moving away from the desktop applications towards subscription based 365...

As someone who has been using Samsung flagships for 7 years straight and switched to Iphone (mainly because of terrible camera experience on Samsung phones), my only regret is not doing it earlier. Samsung phones just have too many compromises and they don't seem to care about it, releasing the same "we'll fix it with updates" half baked devices year after year.

Not a single thing that's better on Samsung flagship compared to any other brand (camera, UI, battery life, design, resell price...). They somehow managed even to have display problems with S24 series. Imagine paying over 1000 bucks only to wait for software updates to "fix" dull colors and grainy display. That should not be acceptable even on 200 bucks devices

I would love to know about the battery performance I have the 15 pm It has a stellar battery life perf But I expected more As for the 24 ultra I was watching some guy’s review (about 2 hrs) and that phone was lagging and dropped from 100 to 96 in that period It had more worried so I went with the 15 I hope Samsung has done something in that regard bc my history with them keeps me still off android phones till now

Huh. At 8:29 Samsung had a minor delay at weather app. Just accept the fact android can never match the smoothness of iOS. Surely iOS has lags but doesn't lag as android. Like iOS lags only once in 100 times, but android lags 50 of 100 times.

I love both iPhone and Samsung but I'm on my 5th Galaxy phone now and I've absolutely loved every Galaxy phone I've ever had. I currently have the Galaxy S24 Ultra and I absolutely love it. Great performance and the battery life is amazing on this phone. Samsung makes amazing phone's. I've had zero issues with any of my Samsung phone's I've owned.

These phones are both great currently own the s24 ultra but those huawei phones with their silky smooth animations are beating ios and samsung. They better update their phones and make them even smoother.

I have both and I love the s24U much more and I use it more than the IP15PM...the only thing keeping me with iPhone is the AWU...

I finally took a call on the s24 ultra.. Because it looked like a perfect device and I really wanted the s pen.. I love this phone, even the famous samsung shutterlag has gone away now.. There's just one thing I notice with the s24, there is a slight grainy look at lowest brightness in grey tones and white tones.. Dont know is it the anti glare display thing or is it a fault.. It can get pretty annoying sometimes... Otherwise all good 👍

Feels like Samsung display is bluish white (cool white); wish Apple display was similar. On videos, warm display may be vivid but in general cool display looks fabulous

Im really digging the s24 ultra on my business line. Cannot put it down. It's so fast and fun. Haven't touched my iphone on personal line. Still like the iphone on personal for texts and face time with friends and family.

A really good analysis of both phones. Both phone do things really well. I prefer the S24 Ultra just because it is much more fun to use. I have an iPhone also for the blue bubble people and FaceTime. I always use the S24U, I find it just a really great phone. Apple can really update their iOS to be more fun and keep their solid ecosystem and performance, but I really don't want to wait until 2030 for them to "invent" OS customizations.

yeah s24 ultra is much faster than the iphone 15 pro max, apps open alot faster on the samsung, the camera is much better, etc

Apple is adopting (probably was forced to) RCS messaging protocol, in the iOS 18 update! That will fix most of the problems between texting between iMessage and Android. 😊

One thing no one takes the time to talk about is the dedicated zoom mic! When you take a video and have enabled Zoom Mic, it uses a fourth mic hidden to the right of the UW cam to focus the sound to the area you are zooming in! It's a beautiful thing when at live events and have that annoying, off pitch lady to the right of you! 😂😂😂

The screen presentation and size is really where Samsung killed it. I had a co-worker sniff out that I had a 24 Ultra. They're a iPhoner with a 15 Pro Max. We did our Nerd-parison. He was very impressed, but he was apple-centric, which isnt wrong. If you go home to apple products, why go android? Me, on the otherhand, I was just not that impressed with the presentation. From the sizing and how it felt in my hand. Outside the case, the iPhone 15 Pro Max feels more back pocket friendly with not sharp edges like the 24 Ultra. But... the corners giving you more screen and the slightly more length makes it better. The camera is a misnomer. It's all about ram, storage, latency and support. Also, I'm not a fan of that large black blobby spot at the top.

I love Android, especially Samsung. I've been considering getting a new phone, but there's a complete deal breaker for me: I've never been able to get voice commands to work using the Gboard keyboard. Since I dislike the other keyboards available on Android, I don't really have a solution. I've always stuck with iPhone because of this issue. The voice command on iPhone may not be the best-neither as fast nor as effective as on Android-but at least it works. If anyone has a solution that works, I'd be ready to switch back to Android, because the Galaxy S24 Ultra is really tempting me. The only Android phone where I find that voice commands work right out of the box is on Google's Pixels. The problem is that I don't necessarily want a Pixel; I generally prefer Samsung, especially their high-end models. It not only allows me to write much faster to many different people, but I am also disabled, so it's much less exhausting for me to speak than to type long texts by hand.

Honestly Crapple are just selling the same phone over and over again and the isheep are just buying them. I wouldnt have one for free now and i used to love them. They're so far behind that it's unreal.

nick all the interface smoothness etc is just iphone bias. apple slows the animation to jive the appearance of smoothness. personally i have apple and an ultra and i set the animation speed on the ultra to faster than stock and it is way better for me. If others want to like the slower smoothness of apple thats cool but it isnt "smoother" in reality like somehow samsung cant code their interface fast enough lol. it's done on purpose.

Nothing beats the aspect ratio on iPhone 6 plus so far. Thin and wide than modern phones.
