You know, y'all can hate on them all you want but not a lot of people can sing like chad kroeger. The voice you hear on the album is the voice you get live and not many people can do that. Definitely a top 5 power singer in the rock/alternative genre

I think people hate them strictly just to be bitter. I mean come on, every muscian is using the same chords and chord progression that have been used for 100's of years. But when Nickleback does it it makes them garbage. Those peoole should go make some new chords. Oh wait.. they can't

I mean in this video and 90% lives they are pretending playing. They have different versions of their songs - the sound is just too clear, It's just impossible to play like that. For example look at the moment at the beginning when Chad starts to play.

@@joeswanson7502 If you pay attention, sometimes he went out of air and had to breath in the wrong places to keep going. He also makes some phrases shorter. Little things like these it's way diferent from the Studio version and you can't simulate this THAT perfect. So yes, he used to be that good alive.

Yes, they do rock for real. One of the few new bands I really appreciated as far as rock is concerned at the end of the last century/beginning of this one. I love his voice in particular.

As much as I do not like Nickelback's more recent albums, I can always listen to them live. One of the very few bands that actually sound BETTER live.
