The main (and possibly only) reason Adam hasn’t blown up in the mainstream is because he chose to commit to Queen. He’s spoken about it in the past and has no regrets. Freddy was one of his main heroes and he feels blessed to get the chance to honour him. My daughter and I saw them in concert in 2018(?) in Toronto and we were blown away. Adam commands an entire arena-sized venue effortlessly. It’s mesmerizing. I was lucky enough to stand in line all day in the rain, to see him front row on his 3rd stop in 2010, on his very first tour. The place held less than 1500 people and the experience was pure magic. I’ll cherish the memory for a long ass time! Adam Lambert; a glittering ✨alien 👽 from Planet 🌎 Fierce 💁🏻

I believe that some people are blinded by the light of Adam’s immense talent, which is so raw and honest, and often beyond comprehension, beyond words. I love this man so much. You really get him. Thank you for this reaction.

I read this interview about the making of Underneath. I'm enclosing a part of the interview from Songfacts. So much emotion went into this song. Josh Crosby and Robert Marvin produced this track. In our interview with the song's co-writer Catt Gravitt, she explained that Lambert stopped recording during the session so he could take a call from VH1, which was doing a "behind the scenes" report on him. Lambert came back distraught because the network spent very little time discussing his music and focused the story on his being gay. "We all had this beautiful discussion about all of us, and him really sharing his vulnerabilities, and then he got back up to the microphone and sang that song," Gravitt said. "I truly think the world of that guy. He really was bearing his soul that day, and when I listen to him sing that song, it just kills me."

Whoa...Adam has often said he tries to write his songs relatable to his own life and definitely went through some rough times as we all do...I can hear and feel his pain in this live performance. I think I would have been in tears on these if I had been there. Adam is such a genuine, caring and kind human being, if you are not familiar with him, just go to his interviews here on youtube and you will quickly fall in love with him. He was born to be brilliant and gifted with his beautiful voice...I am a happy glambert that he chooses to share his gift with the world ❤ Thank you for your reaction to this video ❤

Thanks for a great reaction! Adam’s talent and voice shines through even a fan’s 2012 phone recording! The studio recording is amazing of course but I love the raw emotion in this live version of Underneath

Thanks for all these Adam Lambert reactions. Long time glambert here, so these all bring back such good memories. FYI he has actually had a few very big radio hits, most notably "Whataya want from me" and "If I had you" from his first album (For your entertainment) and "Ghost Town" from his third album (The Original High).

I have to go back and watch some of your other reactions to Adam, but I really appreciate how much you appreciate him, Nick and I'm probably going to comment something similar on all the other videos when i get that far. 💜 We are all mind boggled about how Adam hasn't blown up on the radio and streaming services. I'm mind boggled by the news and current events pretty much daily, but nothing boggles my mind more than people not appreciating Adam's talent. 🥴🥴🥴

I'm so happy beyond words that you are reacting to this particular performance of these two songs. I don't think anyone else has reacted to them despite my requesting them many times. Thank you, thank you, thank you. How about a deep dive into Adam's career pre-Idol. I think that the only way to hear Adam is live. I have his entire recorded catalogue, but I never play it. I scour youtube for his performances because that's where he makes magic. I've only seen him live with Queen (and shouldn't say "only"), but on the radio, no. It's phenomenal, but I think it isn't as personal. When you watch him live, it's like he's singing just to you, and creating the feelings you have in you.

Tommy Joe used to be the bassist until his guitarist left the Tommy took over. Tommy originally auditioned to be his guitarist but Monty was already there so Tommy learned the bass to play with Adam.

He was a ith Sauli at this time. He was from Finland so Broken English makes sense. They broke up about this time. He was also covering Rhiannas song Stay. Produced The Original High in Finland.
