Love the analysis and the etude sounds great. Thanks Nick

Nick I tried to get the etudes using PayPal but it keeps refusing the payment with the captcha protection. Not sure why!

I tried to use my debit card and get the same issue. 🤔

Hmmm... not sure why that's happening. Did you ever get it figured?

@@nickmainella yes it worked eventually but I can’t remember what I did to get it to work. Thanks

Nice incite. I never noticed the Giant Steps connection. Keep em coming.

I know that the melody on bar 6 plays the flat third (natural F) but when improvising could I play as if the chord was a dominant (D7) ? I find my self playing the F# all the time the VI chord appears but it might clash with rest of the band.

Often the first measure has a IV7 in the second half to give a bluesy feel.

Ya! I have heard that before, for sure. I kind of dig it!

How can I use an etude for improv my solo 🫡🙇♂️ ?
@nickmainella8 ай бұрын
Great question! Use it as a source of inspiration for writing your own vocabulary or simply steal the vocabulary in it and use it in your solos! It's also great for developing technique and the sound of quality lines in your ears 👍

@@nickmainella thanks so much . I’ll try to do it 🙇♂️.
