Nicks boots review after 1 month review. This boot is built on the 55 last. I will start wearing the traveler with a hnw last to compare.
I want to give appropriate feedback so people will select the boot that is most appropriate for them.

I have a pair of Builder Pros on the 11067 last. When they were new the arch felt like I was standing on a golf ball but now I dont even notice it. I probably have screwed up arches from wearing junk shoes my whole life. Im a carpenter and these are great boots. I just ordered another pair so I can switch on and off and have a backup pair for when I get the originals resoled. I've had these since 2021.

That’s funny at the end. I’m walking on my treadmill while watching your video. New sub from Texas. Thanks for your new knowledge on Nicks boots . I’m trying to decide what I want to order. I’m a plumber for 43 years and still plumbing away . I’ve always worn Red wings . Again thanks

I am getting another pair from nicks in about 3 to 4 weeks. It has been a project that has taken 7 months. I believe it will have 10 to 12 different leathers built on the 360 stitchdown. I have heard that the 360 stitch is best for keeping water out and it’s the most flexible. I would also look into a quick order because it takes them about 8 months to make a MTO boot

Nice video! Is that brown edging on your Urban Loggers? I ask because my White's Natural Edge is that color, but Nick's Natural (I think) has a reddish tint. Thanks!

I bought it as a ready to ship but it is a natural. I will do another video next week with the traveler and I will take this boot out in the sun so you can see it in natural light. I did order natural on the traveler so they should match

It’s a great leather. Order a pair of kilties for 12.99 and see the leather. I heard on there podcast that they may be using the mahogany 64 as a replacement. It looks great as well. The 64 is thick and feels great. I would recommend that series of leather for a first buy

@@757OMG I have several PNW boots, I typically go for the quick ship or limited leathers, since they have a shorter lead time. The max support walnut roughout also looks great

Technically this boot isn't an Urban Logger, it's too tall. Nicks Boots' Urban Logger is a 6" boot. What you have is a 10" BuilderPro or possibly a 10" Hotshot. It's obvious that all of these models are essentially the same boot as far as construction and materials, but the model name Urban Logger is applied exclusively to a six-incher.

Not 100% accurate, but in a general sense, you're correct.
