I dig the Prospectors, mine are in black bison rough out. Briefly owned a pair of 310s, but much happier with these. Thanks for the video.

With toe cap 😉

@@trapperjohn8508 nice. Prospectors with toe caps are uncommon. Very unique.

It’s interesting how many models nicks has made by differentiating last, plain/cap, and heel. They literally have a boot for everyone.

These remind me of a cooler looking redwing blacksmith turned up a few notches. Nice

Oh those are nice. Good reason not to buy Vibergs.

Does the 11067 with a no. 4 toe box give you enough toe spread? Nick's doesn't make the 67 with a Munson-style last and Frank's doesn't have a Munson-style last (at least not yet).

To be fair I’ve never tried a Nicks 55 in 11E to know the difference. But I did recently try the Nicks 67 in 11.5D and it seemed an ever so slightly narrower than the Whites 55 in 11.5D. However I prefer the Nicks 67 in 11E over both Lasts in 11.5D. There is no Thurman67 Last. I don’t think they would ever make such a Last as most buy the 55 and HNW. I wouldn’t use those toe#’s as it’s really just the Last. You can’t get a #4 toe on a 55 or a #3 toe on a 67. I think Nicks and Franks’s should only refer to Lasts as that is all there is. It’s confusing for customers. My opinion is the 67 is straighter on the big toe side, pushing the big toe less, but the 55 might give a little more pinky toe space as it curves out. I still want to try a Nicks 55 in 11E to make a final determination.

@@EDHBlvd Thanks. I'm getting ready to send off a pair of shafts from my old loggers to one of them to rebuild into a logging/wildland boot. I like the toe box height of the 67 but the prospect of getting a Munson-style toe box is tempting...although I think Nick's' Thurman version looks a little too angled on the sides of the toe box, anyway. My Drew's Contractors are 10D and their 55 last, which is just slightly wider in the box than normal and has a lot of height. Roomy in the heel. But I did try on a few pairs on that size to get a great fit. I trust Nick's or Frank's with a rebuild more and new Drew's sight unseen, honestly. And I don't think I'll be getting back to Eugene anytime soon to try them on.

@@EDHBlvd Well, That's just the thing, I wonder if Franks, nicks and JK all use the same lasts and leather? I just haven't enough money and time to find that out all myself?
