Fantastic Video - Im the Service Technician here for DOGMASTER AUSTRALIA and we had the DOGTRA Reps come over a month ago as we sell their products. Question - How do you access tone, vibrate, or nick from the handheld unit? It looks like the unit has one button that can do one of these things based on settings in the app. What if you need to QUICKLY go from tone to vibrate to nick? This appears to require going to the app and changing the handheld device button settings. What if you need to react quickly in the field to correct a dog that is running away? Seems complicated. Thanks for any feedback!

If you have the ecollar locked on the app does that lock the function button on the GPS receiver also

Great review. Is this functional to be ran two different mobile devices ? For Example can me and my fiancé both have the mobile app and be logged into the same account?

Great vid! What's the tracking range on this device? And does it work well in in low to no cell service areas? Thanks!

Range will depend greatly on the terrain. The rougher terrain and the thicker the vegetation is, the less range you can expect. Most places you'll see max range out to 1.5 miles in perfect conditions. If you predownload off lines maps of the area you plan to hunt, to your phone, no cell service will be required.

@@javierplanas9379 it's the same as your current tracking range. If you have connection to track, you can also stimulate. Losing connection to track the dog also means losing connection to stimulate. And as before connection varies depending on terrain and vegetation of where you are hunting

Is this a good tracking devise for when you leave your dog at home and will be away for a time to keep track of them and make sure they aren’t leaving the area?

No, it has a limited range. Generally no more than a mile or so.

Can I save and share tracks with others? I had a friend who asked if I could send him a map/track in GPX format. It doesn't look like there's a map export function in the app.

Im having a problem, I have 2 collars of pathfinder 2 , i used them like maybe 15 times, and first one collar lost signal after 100feet now both lose signal after 100f? Antenas are both fine. Can anybody help?

Mobile Fence (notification only) - created with a radius centered around your smartphone location (the blue dot on the map) Geo-Fence (notification only) - creates fences for specific areas which send alerts to your device E-Fence (auto correction) - creates fence for specific area and automatically stimulate the collar when the boundary is crossed

I have Treeing Walker Coonhound issues. This isn’t strange, her nose eyes and instincts launch pursuit. I need to get a trainer tracker and also apply some training to me and my Coonie. Are you finding the Dogtra Pathfinder 2 stimulation setting something that will effectively stop a very instinctual coonie from running off after a critter?

Honestly, yes it would be. It is laid out much better than the other tracking systems in my opinion. I have been running the original Pathfinder that I bought for almost 5 years now and have had 0 issues with it.

I've had 4 junk dogtra 2 in 4 months, now the fourth one stopped working. Of course it's past the 30 day return deadline. Garmin lasts for years. Dogtra=junk
