Idk if the clasp is an issue. A $7300 Speedmaster has one adjustment point and they are selling over list, a $10k Zenith A384 has a stamped clasp with pin hole adjustments as well.

Raven's watches have been about $2-300 above what their price point should be for a while now. $700 is too much for a 9015 watch even though it is a great movement.

A good review as always, and not a bad watch maybe just a bit high $$ but I will disagree with the comment that because its a tool watch without polish it takes away from the price point - see Tudor. Also, the one thing on this watch that I don't like the look of (the ugly in my opinion) is the lume marker at 12:00. At first glace it looks like the lume that is put on Invicta watches.

Got my black Raven Trekker 39mm yesterday. It's nice...really nice! To nitpick a little more, though....the lume is OK, but not very long lasting. By the way, what's the deal with these really great independent watch companies in Missouri? Got Monta in St. Louis and Raven in Kansas City. Having moved to St. Louis back in summer 2019, it's kind of nice to have some local watchmaking excellence. My interactions with both of these companies indicate that they are supremely committed to quality and customer service.

Really don't like that steel bezel insert. I'm almost aggressively adverse to it. The ceramic ones look a lot better however, not only with how they're finished but also how the proportions of the font improve with the color contrast. Always do enjoy a nice coin edge bezel and that bracelet is pretty nice looking. Does it grab hair? Looks like it might. I'd personally pass this by for something like a Steinhart Ocean 39 diver/GMT for one or two hundred less with essentially the same movement and much more interesting polishing and detail work. You'll have a hard time finding a better than mediocre clasp on anything in this kind of price range. Nick, some advice if you're reading...when you review watches you might consider handling them less while you're discussing them. You're often talking about details but fidgeting with the watch so much it's hard to see them. You've got seriously animated hands, which we love, just put the watch down LOL Anyway, I got into watches long before you warned me not to and enjoy your reviews of them, even though I seem to have nothing near your taste in watch style.

A nice watch but $499 max. Zelos probably gives better value and have better re-sale value. Ps loose the bezel and the no 12 & call it the X ploorer & i think they have a winner!!

I have a 6.75" wrist. 38mm is my sweet spot. but hard to find. every watch made is 40mm or larger for men. Why! I feel like a kid wearing my dad's watch at that size.
