I think she looks fine. How is this sad? I think it's funny that certain people like Keith Richards and Lou Reed are "cool" when they're fucked up on drugs, but then when other people are it's "sad" and "they need a father figure" and a million other things. Everyone travels a different road, yet we are all headed for the same destination. Nico is a really, really cool lady.

She's 100 percent with it. She looks older because she is older and didn't have plastic surgery money like your average mega celebrity. Hell, she probably wouldn't want it anyways, she was old even at 20 and I think how she is here suits her personality which isn't diminished in any way.

In retrospect, she was just as beautiful in the 80s as she was in the 60s. Just different styles.

This isn't sad. She's lucid, smart, humorous - looks fine. I started working with her that year and yes she was using at that point but frankly still 1000 times more creative and better singer than most.

She was tremendously talented and musically gifted. If she hadn’t been pushed into the role of bauble and had a chance to really acquire some skills she would be better known. I love her music. It’s like a howl from medieval times. Very raw and stunning.

I would say melancholy, reflective, bith nostalgia for an amazing time yet still very much attuned to life. I spent a decade in NYC & met many people who were both entertaining & down to earth while there. From many scenes. But Niico was the one 1️⃣ never even had a chance to share a smile with. I am not intimidated by fame or strong women & I don’t have a sub bone in my body. So I would have at least approached her. But she was the one woman I would really have liked to meet. There is an incredible depth, impossible to conceal. I have often succeeded in engineering opportunities, but never figured out a way. 15 minutes for coffee & a cigarette with her could get interesting, i’m sure. RIP Nico. She was such a sweet sexy beautiful woman. So youthful for being born in 1938. She didn't act at all like someone from that generation. She carried herself like someone born either in the late 40s or even 50s. Sorry she's no longer with us
