@Facts & Justice seasons 1 and 2 may actually be connected to MCU, except for season 3. I realized how their connection to MCU is very unclear since they should have been affected by the Snap (and the same can be said to the final season of Agents of Shield, the Snap wasn't also mentioned).

And not because they explicitly said that the staff was tech, doesn't mean they can't retcon it as magic. Tina maybe lying about the Staff's origins. There is a deleted scene in the Doctor Strange movie where a younger Tina Minoru is with Wong in the Hong Kong Sanctum, and she already wields the Staff of One. And btw I think you should watch the Season 3 trailer of Runaways. Nico will definitely delve deeper into her mystical side :)

You know.... That staff isn't actually technology, it's magic and Tina lied to keep it safe (I think it's Morgan Le Fey's staff if I'm not wrong). And Nico's eyes turn purple (similar to the bad guy in doctor strange), also Tina was seen in Dr Strange with the staff..... And some of y'all already know Marvel and Disney like to connect things in movies and shows and make even the most outlandish of theories true. Also, in the comics that staff is an actual being..... (and can think on its own, similar to Strange's cape).... And when Tina used magic (without the staff) it was extremely similar to the magic Dr.Strange uses in the MCU (the only reason it looked slightly different was because she was using different spells). This only helps confirm the theory Tina is one of Strange's people.... Plus I highly doubt technology would make Nico's eyes turn like that (even when she's not touching the staff).....
