Nicolas Jaar...capturing the underlying abstraction of reality and translating that into music. What I’ve grown to appreciate the most is the textural complexity, unexpected nature and sheer dynamic bliss. One of the greatest artists of our generation.

This is sound architecture. It is literally producing space. One of the best, most textured productions I've ever heard.

1st time: okay, this is goin' to be good, just need time 2nd: hmm, i start feeling something 3rd.: ahh, why is this man sooo good? 4th: mindblown 5th: dance.cry.love

There's a world of understatement and control, compositional intelligence and just sheer fucking talent underlying this whole thing. Fourth time round, I'm still falling into it.

Now when I am listening to a Jaar track for the first time, I already think about the hundredth time I will listen to it, knowing all the drops and expecting every tiny squeak and be like "sh*t, this is so good"

im laughing and dancing and crying, swimmin in my own tears of happiness, emotionless joy, melancholy chambers in my mind i'm cruising, i'm dazed, i'm laying face down in a dark room illuminated only by my screen of illusions begging for me to be taken away

+WILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL I joke. The music really is awesome and sometimes I feel that way too
This is the best thing I've heard in years, if not in my life. These are among the purest, most masterfully crafted, and expressed emotions that I have ever received. Astounded by its beauty, I almost cried while listening to it. It was as if I was being given another everything different from mine. Thank you Nicolas.

This release outdoes every other Nicolas Jaar release in my opinion. I love that he take this path to more ambient electronic music. It's subtle, both brilliant and dark, amazing work!

kramark I wouldn't suggest them because of their similarity (I think they are quite different from Jaar) but for them alone; especially Haxan Cloak is beyond amazing!
