If anything it was the job at Daisies that was the connection that brought Nicole to OJ and that could have happened without having lived with Pinky (David)! She may have been killed sooner if OJ was obsessed with her beauty and she refused dating him! It is sickening is hearing that if the Trial had been held elsewhere the outcome would have been different! The scales of justice are not so balanced for those with money and connections!

Nicole reminds me a lot of Sharon Tate, both physically and in how the people she knew and loved talk about her. Two young women who are defined by the senseless tragedies thrust upon them. I so wish Nicole was here today, watching her kids grow, adjusting to grandmotherhood. She seemed like such a fun, funny person. I hope, wherever she is, she knows that she *is* loved, and that a lot of people carry her memory in their hearts.

💯 This was a much needed & beautifully done anecdotal piece on Nicole. Since the beginning in '94 when the media frenzy broke out, it was always centric to another person. So much so to now, everytime a new doc or series comes up that's supposed to be about Nicole, the production/direction always ends up shifting the focus to someone that receives far too much attention. This doc gave so much more color to Nicole as well as David; who has been mentioned but overshadowed by other sensational nonsense.

This was such a heartfelt interview. You have a lot of compassion and I am sorry you have suffered so much with guilt. None of it is your fault. No matter what you had done to stop her from going out with him, most likely she would have gone anyway. Convincing an 18 year old who is already in love that they are making a dire mistake, is almost impossible, as they are too inexperienced and naive to foresee potential negative consequences. Women tend to make decisions based on their emotions, not their brains. You had her best interest in your heart and that's what matters the most. You've been true to yourself for so long. Please don't beat yourself up anymore! ****EDIT: I forgot to say thank you for the beautiful photographs and your willingness to publicly share your feelings and memories of Nicole. The four-part documentary that Nicole's sisters made is incredible...a tribute to her and a resource for women experiencing domestic violence, their loved ones, and something that ALL teen girls and women need to watch, reflect on, and discuss with the people in their lives. He couldn't have stopped her from dating that monster. She was determined from day one to be with him. Monsters don't show their true selves until after the wedding.

Yes. Why didn't they let you testify. I think you are right about the change of venue from Santa Monica was in O.J.'s favor. I really don't think you could have done anything to protect NIcole. It seemed like she wanted O.J. and noone could have changed her mind. She fell in love with him and the fame and glamour.

Thank you for this informative and endearing interview and story telling with Nicole's great friend. He should not always blame himself for her moving to Los Angeles with him, and finding work in LA/Beverly Hills rather than somewhere else, where she would have never crossed paths with OJ. In becoming an actor after leaving football, he most likely would have eventually got divorced from 1st wife Marguerite, and taken up with white women, most likely actresses. According to Kris Jenner, in her book from several years ago, OJ cheated on Nicole with actresses. His opinion about the criminal trial not being held in Santa Monica/Westside LA where there would have been a different outcome is shared by many of us.

She and He were very lucky to have each other David Its not your fault. I wish she could have escaped his reach, she tried like hell. One thing I've always wondered when OJ found out Ron was dropping off forgotten glasses that belonged to Juditha (his fav person) If he ever felt like DAMN what a mistake No He was a Narcissist and they SEE NO WRONG IN THEMSELVES or ANYTHING they do. David, I am so sorry you lost your "little sister" your friend & your son, both who still had so much life to live. Her sister said she had a scarf tied around her neck to cover the huge sewn up neck wound. God Rest Her soul She didn't need him. She could have been an actress. She could have been anything. She was so naturally beautiful just like Sharon Tate. I'm sure both The Juice and Charlie are in the pits of Hell. Rest in peace Joseph Lebon Nicole Brown & Ronald Goldman

David you were a true friend to Nicole. Please don't feel guilty. She probably would have gone out with him any. O J would probably continue to show up at her work and convince her to go out and go out in secret, if you had forbid her to go out.

He was married to someone else. While I don't condone violence of any kind, what kind of a woman takes up with a married man? It says something about the characters of both individuals. RIP

Let’s say for the sake of argument that OJ had nothing to do with the murder of Nicole and Ron. This man who was Nicole BF for years has *MORE* regret, sorrow and grief for Nicole 30 *YEARS* later than OJ had for the brutally murdered *MOTHER* of his youngest two children. Every did. Speaks volumes to me.. 😢

12 minutes in, David describes what we now call 'love bombing': OJ buying Nicole an apartment and car after dating her for one week. She was 18 year old--a kid--being drawn in by a narcissistic, manipulative abuser. It's incomprehensible that some people still blame her for her murder. 'Why did she get involved with him?' 'Why did she stay?' Questions that smear her memory and make it harder for domestic violence victims to share their stories and seek support and justice.

I know you truly loved Nicole and I too have a best guy friend whom I have been friends with for over 40 years. My thoughts have always been that other than the two younger sisters of Nicole that the rest of Nicole's family knew she was being abused by OJ! Denise Brown makes me sick for what I believe she knew and didn't stop! I believe that OJ was the gravy train and if Iam wrong please correct me. I hope that you see these comments and answer them or that would lead me to believe that this was all about a video. I don't believe you are that type of person and I believe you loved Nicole deeply as a friend
