Nico, this is my first year windsurfing and I'm about to wrap it up with a trip to Bonaire to reward myself for sticking with the sport for these last ten months. I miss windsurfing so much. Haven't had the opportunity to travel ever since covid hit, and the local conditions aren't what they once were, and access is difficult now also. Thanks Nico for making me look forward to getting on my board again next summer.

Nice video again, well done. Makes me jelous that I didn't get to do euro van life in my 20's. I'd love to see a video/tutorial on dealing with messy water when gybing. Cranking into a gybe and running over the back of chop, board bouncing and slowing down etc not a lot of true flat water where we sail

Cool vid but missing the all important 'pick your line' try and look a long way forward, bare away or head up to avoid white water, breaking lips, or other sailors.

You recently spoke about your best ever gybe on a video - that lay-down duck-gybe at 7:00 was THE best gybe I recall watching on video - and being a long-term gybe improver I've seen so many!

cool video. laying down the sail only works for me left foot in front. Maybe good idea for lowest lay down gibe challenge, then compilate gybes in one video😍

Great jibes. For some strange reasons (not really, I'm just bad), the lay jibe is the only one I can do succesfully. I copied it from carving with skies and somehow it works.

Hi Nico, I really like the Jibes. They are allways awesome and with a low center of gravity in the turn. But you know that. The Laydown Duckjibes are allmost strap to strap like on the Foil. Should it be possible To do that? 😇 I wonder of you can fix that? With some minor training I think you could! 😋🤙That would be fast I think. 👀 For people who want to know the clinics are cool and usefull I was one of the lucky ones that had a Nico Prien Clinic.. To improve the magical gybe ✨️. 🤙from the master itself. 😉👍

Re cut feet : I have a small anchor (smooth and safe to step on if by accident) tied to a floating 4 L water jug. I set that in somewhat shallow water and clip my sandals to the jug going out and coming in so I don't cut my feet on rocky beaches. Chef's Kiss imho. 🙂
