Gameplay walkthrough on how to beat Nier Automata on Very Hard mode difficulty. I take you through the game providing tips. Includes all three Routes of 2B, 9S and A2 and endings A, B, C, D and E. Partner is set permanently on passive. And I'll try to give a bit of a story summary, or interpretation of story elements.

I know I'm very late to this. But the essence of pascal's wager is fear (of infinite loss as the philosopher claims). This is the emotion that was taught by the pascal in the game to the kids. This is what leads to that really tragic scene in part C in the factory

Dang, you have this game completely figured out, it’s great! I just started my first play through and it’s a serious learning curve as I’ve been playing Destiny 2 for the last three years

For Simone its pretty beneficial to attack her in phase 1 to make her skip the orbs she does at the end if you deal enough dmg which you should since you are using weapons instead of what im doing playing with bare fists only and no pod fire. Another thing is that the magic shield program actually cancels the hacking aoes that happen at phase 2 so you can clear most of them before the shield ends (counting the 2-3 adds you can kill before they start firing in the first place).

What version of the game are you using? Because from memory, I have used chapter select to redo the beauvoir fight at an extremely high level where I went through her lifebar in a few seconds. And I'm pretty sure she went through her entire moveset before going into second phase. Only difference is that her lifebar dissapeared. I dunno if this is different in the US/European version or if it's something that has been patched since It was within the first month of the game's release, or if I actually don't remember it correctly I know the melee shield and projectile shield are extremely OP, but I chose to never use those. I believe I mentioned this at one point the walkthrough, although I don't remember where exactly.

This is definitely my favorite area but you made me sound like an asshole because I killed all the happy machines xD haha. To my defense, it was my first playthrough and I didn’t know that we are the bad guys … maybe I should pick this one up sometime. Since I did auit in this area because I didn’t know how to proceed. Great vid as always dude

Seing this kind of later ... but why not use Melee power up ? I use a lot to end quickly some fights ..

I don't remember since this was a long time ago, so I either didnt have them or purposefully didn't use them so the fight would NOT go by too quickly so I could show more of it. I remember taking a little bit of a minimalist approach for that reason.
