I still can't believe that Yoko Taro built an entire franchise upon a joke ending in one of his games just because he thought it would be funny.

@frscproduction6283 basically in a prior game called drakengard there is an ending where a dragon falls from a another dimension falls into Tokyo in a game that takes place in a more or less generic fantasy world it's a last minute twist and comes out of nowhere just to be weird and leads to humanity turning into salt, nobody's and heartless
