Finidi may have failed to use these games to cement his place as new Coach. Why not start Sadiq as No 9? Awaziem decided to cross for Mali when he could ha cleared out under pressure... Same with Omeruo who was easily outrun for the second goal.... It was a poor outing for the boys.

I thought Mali's quick passing and high pressing made both defense and offense very difficult. The coach must find a solution to these issues.

@@emmanueletuk199Not necessarily, I want to believe the coach has reasons for setting up the way he did & for not playing some players on the bench. It's not the best outing for the team but I know Finidi can & is good enough/will fix things. No cause for alarm, he will deliver the goods, NFF should give him the job...👍🏾

These guys didn't play like pro. Very untactical. Defence was very porous!! 2 chances of facing a goalkeeper cldnt result to goal!! It was disappointing!!!

It's because of the quick fast movements from Mali which made them almost impossible to touch. Nigeria should learn from them, Mali made the defense porous with the movements and quick passing.

Chigozie Awaziem has never been good. When South Africa beat Nigeria 2-0 a few years ago in Uyo, it was Chigizie Awaziem's defensive blunders that caused the 2 goals. I wonder what Awaziem is doing in Super Eagles. Corruption, maybe, surely not football because he's not good for any national team, not to talk of Super Eagles.

Good game from finidi but they should not play a 352 where you have 5 defenders that’s defensive if had just gone with Deseers Lookman Iheanacho Iwobi Ndidi Onyeka Bassey. Bright Semi Taminu But why go with three cb the two full backs too defensive if Bassey fall to the you have only one attacking fullback that’s what city play with gvardiol and walker

ANYTIME THE NATIONAL TEAM PUT ON PURE GREEN NO MATTER WHAT THEY PLAYED, THE BEST RESULT IS DRAW. BUT WHEN THEY PUT ON WHITE OR WHITE MIXED WITH OTHER COLOURS, LIKE GREEN, ETC, THEY WILL SURELY WIN THE MATCH. I HAVE OBSERVED THESE FOR YEARS.

For him to be in that position shows he is good. Any player can miss scoring opportunities. Your almighty Osi had plenty of chances at national cup, how many did he score. Saying Desser doesn’t deserve to show us if he is good or not makes no sense.
