Night drive to Dover & a detailed boarding of the ferry with our caravan - Euro Hols Part 2

As we travel to Dover for our 4 am sailing to Dunkirk we focus on what to expect on the arrival/customs/ check-in & boarding with our 8 metre caravan - this is part 2 of our summer 2020 holiday adventures. There is a lot more to come as we go through Belgium into Germany then back into France for a stop over to Brittany & eventually back home via Brittany Ferries and Roscoff.

@@beyondthatbluedoor From what I have seen and what people say, Euro tunnel is almost totally automated when checking in so if you go I would like to know what you think. 😊

Great tip about the ATC draining the barrier. I learnt the hard way about the two stages of locking on my BMW X3.🤦‍♀️

Thank you so much for watching-they are : TPMS for the caravan tyres - rear view camera on the caravan , always on & recording also very handy when overtaking - dash cam - sat navigation for caravan use (you add the dimensions & it won’t take you along roads that you won’t fit) & it has speed limits/warnings for a caravan

"English customs"? What are these? We are taught at school here in Europe that England is in a co-dependent agreement with Scotland and Wales and England relies heavily on Scottish oil and renewable energy. Would not that make it "British customs" or "United Kingdom customs"? You local peesons would know best but "English customs" does not sound good. England is not an independent country in its own right. Saying this, we are now be taught that Scotland is becoming an Independent country and EU member again very soon. Maybe after Scotland is independent you can say "Englsih customs", no?
