I live in the Philadelphia area and no cheese steaks has mustard on it here that I know of. Cheese steaks in my area come with onions,ketchup ,American cheese,or cheese whiz or provolone cheese and sweet or hot peppers and I like mayonnaise with mine. I’ve been in Philadelphia area for years so I’m and experienced cheese steak lover. The best cheese steak shops in the Philadelphia area are the small mom and pop places in the Philly area.

Have you ever tried Himalayan Kitchen at Ala Moana? Was first introduced to them when they were in Shirokiya but that was 4-5 yrs back. Been meaning to pay another visit to them, see if food quality has changed much....

Love your videos! I moved from Saint Louis/Kaimuki to Washington DC four years ago and miss home a lot. Watching your videos helps me feel in the loop on the local food scene. Like remember when JJ's chocolate pyramids on waialae were a vibe? Anyway, hard pivot to Chinatown spots that I still dream about: late night lucky belly window, manapuas and pork hash at char hung sut, and Wings ice cream. We just went back home so it never occurred to me to look for those. Great explanation on the Cheesesteak I will have to try them out next time I return. Another great video guys!

I have never had soft shell crab before, where have I been ? Lol I need to. Haha Popeyes claw crab 🦀 that was funny and so right that it looked like it. Those rolls looked deelish. All the food looks good at the market, glad you both enjoyed. I hate when there aren’t any tables to sit at, might be a good thing though due to the pandemic, sitting on the grass it probably safer.

Aloha Amanda & Felix and Davonn (I've been writing Yvonne all of this time, lol!). You guys are so lucky to have these night markets/daytime farmers markets, etc, so many great eats to pick and choose from. I like, from what I can see on your videos, there's a lot of variety of foods/proteins which is good for those of us who don't eat certain meats, etc. I love butter mochi and the one you ate in this video looked awesome. Last time I was in Hawaii the Foodland Farms were out of butter mochi and didn't know of other places to get it from, so I've been craving it ever since (2018!!!!). The poit mochi balls looked super ono too.

Lots of Ono food here. Pork Grilled Musubis and Soft Shelled Crab Sandwiches. But I would have really wanted to Munch that Shrimp and Steak Plate the most. Great Desserts too, Andagi and Mochi. Mahalo and Aloha.

Hi guys! Not sure which food I like best from the lineup of dishes you ate but the soft shell crab sandwich caught my attention and has to be my favorite. It looked so good, tasty and very soft. Loved the review of the night market. I'm impressed with the grind capacity that the three of you have. I'm older now, but even in my younger days, I don't think I could eat so much at one sitting and the three of you look the same every video. I loved looking at the food and envying all the new items but I think I would have a tummy ache after eating half that much. All of the dishes look great and I hope to try half of them one day, if those vendors ever show up in the West side events. I can't wait to try them. BTW, tried the Kapolei cookie place that was reviewed. Only had 2 of the cookies from the pack which my wife and I shared with the neighbors. They were interesting the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and the Fruity cookie. Thanks.

Nice episode! I noticed one thing, the new disposable food containers. Can you spend some time critiquing the new disposable containers and utensils since the ban on plastics and styrofoam went into effect? I personally know the paper straws from Costco suck beau coup plentys. Mucho Mahalos !

Oh and BTW, Da MOchi Guys live in Ewa Beach I think. The truck is parked about a block away from my house. You have to try the kulolo one! THAT is their winnah! Keep up the good work!

Ho man, that poi mochi looked really ono! Good thing it's the mochi texture and not the poi texture otherwise Felix couldn't eat it. Are you going to the Okinawan Festival this year?
