For film I definitely recommend the 300c, there is a 150c as well, cheaper but definitely not as bright..

thats a experiment that i want to see, instead of using an orange filter to shoot 800t in daylight it would be cool to see a flash with a orange gel instead

If you only light up the main subject/model, the models skin will maintain correct while the background still in the blue tone~ that’d be interesting!! 🤔

I can hear the blue, and taste the greeen!!! This show some good level of color manipulation. Gives me ideas for a camera on a drone that make everything look grey.

It was fun, I tried it with flash light and color gel before, it's difficult to control the density of color, this is much easier!!

Always give me good energy for the day :)) , i have a P67 but having 10 shots per rool is harddddd on my money, also this beast is heavy! how do you fell about yout 645N? I was thinking of getting one for lighter gear + extra frames, but is it gear acquisition syndrome ?? Lmk what you think, love. Théo

13:20 The neg is so dirty and I'm sure it's right out of the plastic sleeve. I fight this issue as well and don't really understand why the dirt is there to begin with. Also, beautiful pictures as always, Sam!

I know, right!! I spent so much time cleaning and removing dust when I’m scanning and in post!! It’s so tedious 😭

Hey Sam..thank you for the video. Your happiness in what you do is always wonderful to see❤ May I ask a question? I'm tired of paying for film scanning and processing. I need to buy a scanner. Currently looking at a wolverine model for 35 and 120mm. I guess my question is, I'm assuming I will need software to process to digital. Can you or anybody here help?

I use silverfast to scan and Negative lab to process. I’m not familiar with the scanner you are looking at.. and there are many ways you can convert your photos, really depends on what works for you..

Love these pictures! I was looking for a shoot like this with an Amaran light. My biggest concern was the battery, but it seemed to last a while for you. Which battery did you use?

Mine is really old and discontinued, it’s from Anker, I think you can find a better that’s more powerful from the same brand (or different brand)… mine can’t handle 300w full power white light, only the color light works, I think there are more powerful batteries out there nowadays…

Whats your setup to turn the Amaran 300c into a portable light?

I plug the 300c in a portable battery, it won't work at full blast, granted my battery is very old, I'm sure you can find better portable battery now a days~
