ΣHAANTI Really wish you would leave this one running. It's more calming and has more rain sound than the new 1. The updated video has louder bugs and crickets sound than rain.

This is a much more natural one, no doubt. The background noises do not intrude as much as in the new version. The rain is in the foreground and that is much better.

I agree! I checked out the updated version and quickly left the channel. The cicada? and cricket noises were just too intrusive and loud. I also really LOVE the scenery in this one. Puts me in a much better headspace. Yep, this video is much more pleasant!

Who could complain about this? These sounds take me back to my childhood. Sleeping in a tent and living half a block from a pond. Frogs,crickets,cicadas,owls everything. Love the peaceful sounds of nature. Great therapy.

I prefer this one. The sound of rain is in the foreground, and the medley of frogs, crickets and the owl in the background. The other version sounds the opposite. Rain in the foreground is more appealing.

Growing up in the country, surrounded by trees and swamps, this is exactly what i would hear my whole childhood & teen years. i live in the city and i love it (I've never been a country person) but i will always find more comfort in this sound than cars.

if you're not on mobile, you could right click and hit loop! it's what i tend to do with these videos -despite some being ten hours, ya know, just in case- if on mobile, make a playlist and put the playlist on loop (i forget if thats a mobile option, but you could make a playlist of different rainy videos!)

For me it's the spring peepers (frogs) in the background like they were when I was a kid. I lived right next to (almost on top of) the Bergen Swamp In Bergen NY USA. This was a very oft heard combo of sounds when the weather began to warm and I could leave my window open at night. It was so so soothing after all winter of being stuck in a 100 year old drafty ice cold farmhouse lol No wind whistling in my windows. On softened sounds like this. The one little cricket I can hear is so very subtle as if it were in the flower garden under my window. The barn owls didn't come too close to the house, so I rarely heard them, it is nice to hear it here.

This reminds me of whenever i go to my grandparents place far from my home every summer, it was happy little farm with a great dirt rode for biking and i would always hang out with my cousins in their pool, unfortunately, they had to get rid of the pool because it was taking to much money. Now my family hasnt been able to go there for a while because of covid, we couldnt go last summer and probably not this summer either. But whenever we went to bed we would watch an old movie in the living room and eat some popcorn, then we would head to bed and this is what you could hear in the background their was also the faint noise of cars driving by and the noise of a fan next to us because it was pretty hot their. But i just hope my family can go again. But for now this is what i can listen to until we go again.

i am in a cottage, somewhere in the forest, while it's raining i can almost smell the rain and feel the cool air i lay in my bed listening to the mixture of gentel rain falling on the ground and small critters and animals singing what can only be described as a beautiful song i cover my face with my warm blanket, and drift to sleep

I adore this! When I was a younger woman I fell for a guy who lived near a creek. On cool, Spring nights he would open the bedroom window, snuggle up to me andhold me tight. The frogs, rain and crickets would play a symphony just for us. It is such a strong, beautiful feeling. I searched for frogs and rain sounds so I could do a little time travel tonight. The ambiance was perfect and my heart was overflowing. I felt safe and secure. These sounds remind me of magical times and young love. Best to you! Thank you!
