Got a call for a jeep with a broken steering knuckle just below the Devils Crack which is the first obstacle on the Moab Rim Trail. The customer had got the jeep turned around and pointed downhill so we just had to hook up and carry it down about 200 yards. We carried it down until the upper ball joint gave out the rest of the way and we had to remove the tire. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.
www.trailmater.com is up and Shirts are available.

Welcome to the Internet! There will always be someone there to tell you what you did wrong no matter what. Personally I love the light setup on Trail Mater and do not expect to see everything on video. Everything on Trail Mater seems to be very well thought out in design and function. Fricken genius is what I say! Thank you for taking us to the Devil's Crack at night with you...what a weird thing to say....lol.

I feel the same, the first time I saw Trail-Mater on another YT channel it looked like an escapee from Mad Max. When you see how it works you understand the smart thinking behind the way Rory built it and uses it. I guess it is like holiday luggage, you have to be strict on carrying enough but not too much with you.

The owner did a nice job of controlling the descent, giving how difficult Rory says the section is. I am not sure how anyone could possibly think they could second guess Rory on the best way to do that stuff, even if they were there and could see the whole picture for themselves. But they weren't so they couldn't. Rory, you need to start thinking about where you are going to put that Tow Truck Olympics Gold medal. 🏁🥇😎

First, that 180 degree pivot on the narrow rock ridge road, to turn the rescue vehicle around; what a piece of art & extreme expertise. Second, knowing the route, details and crux move, to stay with the (distressed) tire on as long as you could. Third, initial and final effort in the dark, assisting a customer (human) in distress, who was broken down on the rocky edge of a trail. Not an easy venture, once the sun goes down, & still Rory pulls it off with humility & prime prowess.

Good Morning Rory ! Hey Thanking you in advance for my " middle of the night TRAIL MATER FIX !" Hopefully, you don't get sick of my comments as obviously, I'm one of your biggest fan/ subscribers. I couldn't agree more with what Justin said about one of your many signature trademark maneuvers ! The 180°turn within your own vehicle footprint ! This "move" of yours as I've seen you ( on many of your other totally epic vudeos) perform this maneuver still blows my mind when you do it ! Also nighttime recoveries are cool in their own right because of perspective and line of sight view, dramatically changes. The Trail Mater is one of those freaking WIZARD creations that is incredibly purpose engineered and built. Your expertise is next level ! I say screw the keyboard kings that have anything negative to complain about regarding why you strap up any disabled vehicle as you know better and always aire on the side of cation for the towed vehicle and even more important your own personal safety. Kudos man, as you're well on your way to 1 million subscribers ! 112,000 subs now ! It wasn't that long ago when you had 8,000. Impressive ! Warmest Regards from your " neighbor" here in Chandler.

Yikes, I hate that part of the trail what you can't see is the cliff edge your inches from on your passenger side and how truly steep it is. That trail is so beautiful once you get past what I'd call the gate keeper. Great Recovery Rory you look so calm and make it look so easy. Be safe out there. Happy trails

The trail is awesome and awe inspiring. What gets my adrenaline going is how the whole shelf is tilted towards the river
