I have just finished the final draft of that book, as you can see in this video. 🎃 Do you have merch? I don't have merch in the traditional sense (I can't imagine selling something with my face or name on haha!), but I do have a stationery company where I sell planners for students. I loved my time at University and like you I had a favorite library with the perfect aesthetics for me to find the space conducive to focused cozy study. This was such a lovely and relaxing video, thank you for sharing!! This is a bit random, but I have a book recommendation for you: “A Philosophy of Walking” by Frédéric Gros. It’s a wonderful collection of biographies and writings of different authors all centered around the theme of walking and spending time in nature as a means of inspiring creativity and thoughtfulness. It seems like it would be up your alley and I know you really value nature walks in your daily life! I'm impressed with a realistic depiction of a study routine in a well known university in United Kingdom. It's good that native/local students there are capable of attending university & can attend classes. It would be an excellent measure to reduce over-reliance on international students and give them a reality check instead of imposing herculean bureaucracy during immigration process of international people for foreign education. I'm saying this from personal experience as an international student who's going abroad for master's education in few months.

Do you mind sharing how you handled the academic pressure at Oxford? I went to a reputable institution for my undergraduate studies and personally I felt so much pressure to make the most of the resources and research there that I really struggled to have balance and make friends. I also felt a lot of pressure from peers to be involved in 101 things so to speak. Now I am very nervous to even apply to certain institutions for higher education because of this pressure. I haven't heard anyone speak on this before, so it would be really helpful to hear whether you experienced this as well, how you handled it, and any advice you may have for people like me. Generally, the tap isn’t the most optimal quality of water, to say the least. If the building has a top quality filtration/purification system, it can help a lot. It also depends on the types of pipes installed, their quality, and condition. Some people like to test the water before drinking, to check for various contaminants such as bacteria, lead, pesticides, nitrates, and more. 📊

I'm wondering if you've ever considered doing videos without voice over. I feel like without voice over, it's pretty natural to use footages at normal speed. I personally find those video, especially when people are reading, writing, studying, making and enjoying tea or coffee, really calming. Just thinking those type of videos might suit your style very well.
