I do the same thing at night. As soon as we finish dinner.. I clean the kitchen ... fold some laundry and start turning off all the overhead lights. I put on the lamps and night lights .... defuse some essential oils and light a candle to get our brains calm and ready for bed. I love how clean you keep your home. I just can’t deal with homes that are ALWAYS messy....

I love cleaning after dark, especially after the kids go to bed. Even though I’m tired - there is just nothing more satisfying than going to bed knowing the house is clean and will still be when you get up to start the day!

Love, love cleaning after dark segment🌃..... I totally agree with you about turning down the lights at night....it really slows you down from a busy full day! I've been "turning down the lights" sorta say for years when my children were young. I call it "getting the house prepared for bed" and it brings me a calm relaxed feeling. Your music, the night time cleaning & the low lights & candles was just awesome!🏡🌙

I do the same thing. I get all of the cleaning done first and clean the floors last, but my grandma always used to complain about it because "youre just blowing dust everywhere when you vacuum." Lol. To me, it just makes sense to do the floors last. This was the motivation I needed to start my cleaning routine this morning!

I just love that you keep the counter tops super minimal, we do the same and recently someone came into my house and said “wait, your not moved In yet”.....I laughed and totally took it as a compliment. I wish I could say I was a minimalist but I am not by their definition, but i try to keep spaces clear and tidy. You have done a beautiful job with your house and all your spaces, it’s very soothing to look at 😊

Loved the vlog , love cleaning at night as well. I am able to sleep better when the house is clean and I wake up to a clean and fresh home. I am going to start and try out the dimming of the lights. Love the puppies , they get so excited to see the vacuum. They are so protective, that was so sweet to see them running in and standing facing the door, like we got you mom no worries. I don’t blame you waking up to a clean home. I feel like Danny Tanner from full house sometimes “A clean home is a happy home” lol but in my case my bedroom since I still live at home with my parents etc but everyone else does all the cleaning but watching you’re videos are helpful and motivating 💖

I love your videos! The last part when you dimmed the lights was awesome and I don't know why I don't do that! You might want to check your vacuum cleaner manual regarding putting essential oil on the filter. I have a Dyson V8 and it's manual specifically says " FIRE WARNING - Do not apply any fragrance or scented product to the filter(s) of this machine. The chemicals in such products are known to be flammable and can cause the machine to catch fire." Just want you to be safe :)

Enjoyed this video a lot! Changes my routine now for the evening a lot so thank you for that!! Your house is a dream it’s so pretty! Love the simplicity and how crisp it looks! The e cloth mop you used is it just for cleaning the floors since it’s just water being used or does it disinfect as well? Same with the thieves does it just clean or does it have a disinfecting agent as well? Xo

I definitely feel you with the puppies. I'm lucky if I get 5 minutes to enjoy clean floors before they are dragging in bits of dry grass or when it's raining, m u d... ;D I'm going to switch up to quick floor cleaning in the evening so I can wake up to clean(ish) floors! Looking forward to the next video's, love them all!

Loved the video. I do the same. I turn off main lights and use lamps and under kitchen cupboard lights. so much nicer to wind down for the evening.

I loved this one! Re:lights. Our house randomly does not have a light in the living room ceiling. We were going to install one but I opted to not put one in and instead I draped those outdoor lights across the front window. They put off a soft glow and it’s so nice!

Those candles look so amazing when they are flickering in the dim light. We also turn our lights down cause it really does get you ready for bed and saves you money on your electric bill:) The front porch looked so nice and peaceful at night too!
