It's been a year now. In my 6th grade, there was this girl I fell for. Got a crush upon her. She was my first ever female friend in the school I was in. We were really good friends. Like this, passed a year. In my 7th grade, one day, I hear that she fell for my best friend, that she loves him. It was a heart breaking moment for me, I didn't even get to ask her out. But I took all the pain inside and said my best friend, "Be her boyfriend, she'll be more happy with you than me". We were in a friend's house, and I was about to cry, so I took my leave. He called me and said, "it's okay mate, of you feel sad, I won't be her boyfriend". I ended up crying, but still said to him," she'll be more happy with you than me. Be her boyfriend, and please take care of her". Next day and the days to go, seeing them together, made me feel like crying up, for the fact that I want good enough for her. Not good enough for the only person I ever fell in love with. It was during the middle of our 8th grade, that they had to break up for certain reasons. She was really sad, but I was there for her at all her times. It was finally at the end of our 8th grade, that she said to me, "I now finally understand how you felt. I need someone to take care of me in these sad times. I can't ask you, I've broken you very much. And I think I should repent for what I've done." Hearing that, I just hugged her tightly and said, "it doesn't matter what you did. I still love you, I'll always be there for you. No matter what. I'll take care of you. Wanna be my girlfriend?" To my surprise, she hugged me back and said, "I've been wanting to say this for a long time! Please let me be your girlfriend" I couldn't hold my happiness, it was finally after 3 years that my crush became my girlfriend" I dont know how many will read this, but this song reminded me of the time, if you liked my story, mind giving me a like? I also have something to share. It all happened 6 years ago, when my best friend past away. I found him in an alley dead...just thinking about it makes me wanna bawl my eyes out. I don’t know what happened, I don’t know who or what killed him, but it really did tear me apart. There’s one thing I know, that I think about everyday, and that is that I know he’s in a better place, and that he is, and forever will be, in my heart. Just wanted to share. Well, everyone is sharing their story.. So I will too, I had this best friend, I met her halfway through my first year in middle school During the summer, we texted.. And I told her that I like her.. She liked me back.. We started to "date". She broke up with me. I cried.. And cried. After that I didn't-- I started to go numb. On the first day of 7th grade she was ignoring me. I ran up to her and said "Notice me." She gave me a hug. I stood there. We got back "together". And she said "We nEeD a brEaK". A few weeks later she started to say "Am I gay for liking boys?".. which really hurt me. (btw im a girl) She texted me "I swear you have a fucking obsession." I got over her.. She blocked me (on discord). And In P.E class she started to hold me. I was so grossed out. And last night we had a fight. (She unblocked me) She said "Love ya, leave me the fuck alone." I feel so betrayed. And I'm so numb.. She made me so depressed and stressed. She ruined my life. Did I waste my time.. trying to help her get better...??? It never matters. She's always "broken" in the end. I'm in such a terrible spot right now.. I just-- I'm lonely.. I wish I could talk to someone.. To whoever reads this.. Thank you.

I can’t stop listening to this song. My girlfriend for almost a year broke up with me and it’s absolutely devastated me. I cared for her and did everything I could to make her happy while working 70 hours a week. She was the reason I kept going. I kept going even on days when it was zero degrees and I had to walk 6 miles to get to work because of her.

I’m seeing so many stories so here’s one of mine ig- it’s pretty recent, it’s a little bit before school closed. Well last year, i liked this guy. Let’s call him JJ. I’ve known him for somewhere around 5 years. I remember i began to like him after we became close friends over afterschool (although we were friends before but since we weren’t in the same classes a lot over the years our friendship wasn’t that strong.) That’s kinda odd, i know. But it was because one day we were messing around in class, and then we decided that before afterschool started we would leave the building to go to the store and get snacks. Then we just started doing it often. Like every day or every other day. We would usually both bring money but sometimes one of us brought extra just to buy something for the other person. We would sometimes get caught and get in trouble but we just found that funny and overall the whole sneaking out to the store thing brought us closer together. But then one of my friends, (let’s call her Jade) told me she liked him. And i’m the kind of person who, if my friend likes the same person as me, i’ll back off and work on shutting those feelings down. So that’s what i did. But Jade ended up liking someone else after a while so i ended up bringing those feelings for JJ back. Then fast forward to this year. My best friend (let’s call her Alexis), ended up liking JJ. I decided to of course, put my feelings for him off again. After a while they began to date. But she would always question him and try to break up with him just so she could get sad and start complaining about him to me and talking about how he hates her and starts ignoring her and junk like that. But he always tried to make it up to her, and after a while he just kinda stopped trying. And they officially broke up for good. She started saying how he liked me because while they were in their on and off relationship he would play with me and talk with me more than her. Can’t say I’m surprised, me and him were closer after all. Anyway, one friday we were sitting in homeroom and watching something. And Alexis and i were writing in my notebook to eachother instead of speaking because even though we sit right next to each other, we werent allowed to speak while whatever was on the board was playing. She was talking about how me and JJ should date. But i was trying to tell her no, since that’s her ex and she’s my best friend so it would be weird. But she kept pushing it and i gave up and was just like okay whatever. Fast forward to first period in math class, she starts acting sad. I kept trying to ask her what was wrong but she wouldn’t answer. So i ended up having to write it down in my notebook. (Me and her are people who when we get angry, we’re better off writing it down that speaking out loud, i dont know why she’s like that, but i’m pretty sure it’s similar to my reason which is because when i’m upset or whatever, i tend to not only say things i might not mean, but i also just either completely break down or go off on anyone for small reasons.) so this is exactly how the conversation (in the notebook) went. Me: “What’s wrong? Do you wanna write it?” Alexis: “It doesn’t matter anymore it’s not like anything’s going to change. ‘JJ’ is always going to like you and you’re always going to like him no matter what you can ask him if he likes me hes going to say no watch and if you ask if he likes you hes going to say yes and that’s how it’s always going to be no matter WHAT!” Me: “I dont know why you think that tbh ‘cause i dont think he likes me but either way i know you can find someone better as well, you’re still an amazing person and we’re still only in ‘[insert grade here]’ there are so many more people out there for you, don’t let one boy ruin your mood ‘cause sometimes people can’t help who they like but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world for you.” Fast forward until after lunch and recess, we were in 5th period i believe. And then she stopped responding and ignored me so i just gave up and went to the other side of the classroom and sat underneath the teacher’s desk cause i was upset and didnt want to speak with anyone. Then after a while, Alexis came over and handed me a note (i dont remember exactly what it said) but it said something that said me and her couldn’t be friends anymore and something that said “i was told to pick my friends wisely and that starts with you.” So basically she was just ending our 6 year friendship right there. We were passing notes for a while and i was frustrated because no matter how much i always tried to help her with her problems including all her ones with JJ, she clearly didnt care. I made and wrote down a short poem along with a little note at the end that i was going to give to her but i changed my mind. I showed it to one of my other friends and i was telling her how when we go to 6th period i wouldn’t be able to sit next to Alexis without crying (thats the classroom where we sat next to eachother in the front of the classroom). And sure as hell, about 5 minutes after we got there, we wrote somethings to eachother in my notebook (i cant find the page) and then i was the first to break. I was crying and then about 3 minutes later she started crying as well. So we just sat there beside eachother for almost 2 and a half hours just crying. During the time the teachers had no idea what to do. One took her out of the classroom for a walk and the other got the class settled into work before coming to try to talk to me but I couldn’t talk. I dont know why, but when i tried to nothing came out. I just ended up crying harder. Literally just frozen in my seat. The teacher gave me a hug and walked away since there was nothing she could do. I was shaking so bad, and when Alexis came back into the room it got worse. I was crying harder and i ended up having a panic attack. Alexis ended up crying again too. Our classmates were confused, some concerned, some not caring at all. It was bad, because for years we called eachother our “other half”. And we meant it. Or at least, i know i did. So when we stopped being friends it really felt like i lost a part of me. We ended up having to do group work from a day before and everyone in my group were some of my best friends, and i didnt want to affect their grade by not doing my part in the group project, so i ended up forcing myself to go to my group. I also managed to calm down with the help of one of them. After i while me and Alexis talked it out (yes, actually talking, not the notebook) and we ended up becoming friends again. But i feel like our bond isn’t as strong as it was before that day. I still feel like there’s a piece of me missing. Like, that day just completely shattered it and now each day i’m looking around trying to pick up the scattered pieces so i can put them all back together again and maybe feel something again. But since then i’ve been feeling more depressed than ever. It’s to the point where she just watches me cut myself in class sometimes and says/does nothing about it. Which makes it even worse. I have a scar on my left arm that she just sat there and watched me make without even helping. It’s still there, and it’s near my vein as well. I think i left a permanent mark there, and she doesn’t seem to give a damn. i know barely anyone will read this but writing it down kind of lifted some weight off of my shoulders.

Just finished re-watching Durarara!! such a marvellous masterpiece of an anime, I can only recomnend it (if you're into a character-driven kind of story that is) and I have to say, Shizuo is one of my favourite characters of all time! Love the art, very emotional in my opinion (and, I suppose, same goes for all those familiar with his character), I always imagined him to be a really broken person deep inside! (btw it surprises me just how many people thought this was Meliodas from 7 Deadly Sins, I think the artstyle and city in the background kinda makes it obvious that it's in fact not 7 Deadly Sins fanart but fanart of a 'modern-world' and 'urban' kind of anime, but then again, it could just be me)

*listening to song* mom stop cutting onions Mom: I am not cutting onions Me: well my eyes are super dry then this made me cry Quick story kinda like this. i fell in love with this girl ( btw I am pan) and she loved me too but she found someone cooler and we drifted apart. A year later she wasn't the same girl I fell in love with. She got into a crash and hit her head hard and she got amnesia. When she was in the hospital I went to visit her and then her parents got the worst news ever she had a brain trauma that was sending blood into her brain which was slowly taking her life. I thought my life was over when her parents told me. I saw my world crumble before me. When a week or so passed by she was holding on to her life with all she had. I held sat next to her and cried thinking my first love was on her deathbed next to me. We had never held hands before and that is when she held out her hand and said goodbye. And then next thing i knew she was dead. I will always remember that day not just for losing a best friend and someone I loved but in the end I have always thought that God gave her a few memories of me just so she could say goodbye. (i cried while writing​ this)

i'm re-visiting all the songs i used to listen to with my 'loved ones' my best friend said she loved this song because she said it was something she could relate to. i didnt understand why, but a few years later... i found out. apparently her co-worker at work did some things that mentally damaged her. her relationship with her boyfriend wasnt stable at that time, and i was her only shoulder for her to lean on. her parents just shrugged if off, while I remembered she texted me in the middle of the night and i comforted her through calls we exchanged. she seemed to look fine and already healed up after a few months of going through the cycle of advice i had given her, until a year later... she committed suicide. i didnt cry at her funeral, and i never had. i was confused at first, because when you lose someone aren't you meant to cry? of course i was sad, but... no tears ever escaped my eyes. until her parents told me after a few more years. It was because of me. she didnt want me to be her therapist like person and she was afraid of being such a bother to me. she didnt want to be a burden in my eyes. that really hurt, knowing i was a cause of a suicide. i never even thought- never not even once in my life i have ever thought of witnessing a suicide. and more so, i never thought i would be th reason of one.

Returning back to this song years later is so strange. I have been always stuck in unrequited love. No matter what guy I fell for, they always would be uninterested, already dating someone or liking someone else. I never confessed to any of them to this day and I still haven't stopped loving the first guy I ever fell in love with. We never talked, and I haven't seen him for years, but the feelings just refuse to go away, and sometimes I curse the moment when he picked the book I accidentally dropped for me. I was never interested in anyone before him, after that, I started to fall in love far too easily and I'm tired of it. I hate remembering that moment. It's the day everything's going good, you're happy for a bit, maybe feeling more social than you are, had a nice day at school/work without disruptions. For me, it wasn't the people that stuck beside me (no matter how rude that sounds), it was my spirit and will to not give up yet. My mind likes to make me think nobody cares, I believe it, but even though nobody else may take that extra minute to build you back up...I realized I need to. If you don't have closest friends, then be your own. If no one's there, then you be there. Once again to me, the mind is a beautiful and harmful thing rolled into one, you just need to know how to solve its challenges, and be your best friend and worst enemy. Rant over. Perhaps you scrolled passed this, I would too I guess.

It'll probably get buried here but I may as well write my story too. There was a girl in one of my classes who I liked and after a month or two of trying to work up the courage to talk to her I finally managed it. I'm not particularly socially competent at the best of times let alone with someone I like so this was really hard for me. I told her I thought she was really pretty and cute and wanted to get to know her better. Well we talked a bit while she was walking home and when we parted ways we exchanged numbers. I went home with the biggest smile I've ever had on my face. The next day comes around and we have a bit of a longer chat after our lectures ended. We both really enjoyed the conversation even despite the odd pauses and for once because of the general vibes, eye contact and you know getting her number, I let myself think that maybe just maybe I had a chance with her. Later that day I texted her that I hope she got home safely and that I enjoyed the chat a lot. I also dropped a hint that I like her. She replies the next day that she also really enjoyed the chat but that she wasn't romantically interested. We exchange a few more messages and make peace and now it's the Christmas holidays. It sounds ridiculous for a guy in his 3rd year of university to get this upset but I've just been devastated these past few days. For the first time in years I cried and I've been struggling to get my last assignment done. I really really genuinely liked everything about her. Her face, her smile, her laugh, her accent, how she made me feel when I was around her. I'm hoping that by writing this it'll help me get over her a bit but whenever I'm alone I can't help but see her face and think about what could've been. About how happy I would've been if it had worked out. Well that's all I wish anyone who reads this happiness and good luck with whatever it is you're doing or want to do.
