i have this 'best friend', he means everything to me, but he keeps hurting me and leaving me. but i just cry and get hurt and then i just run back to him...i can't do all this without him...he's like...my drug? he is bad...but it feels so good to be with him....can someone help me? Edit: I just want to say thank you to all the people who responded to this comment. I'm doing fine atm, the person I was talking about is pretty much out of my life and i'm relieved. I am still healing and in the middle of moving on, but it's all because of the sweet comments and advice I got. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all.

For instance you most likely don't have the latest phone or whatever, and you don't miss it. But if I gave you it, and then removed it again you'd feel sad. You can't miss what you never knew existed.

Sugary_Milkshake no, you love the people around you and are trying to protect them from the reality that not all joy lasts, and that you are struggling so do things that where so much easier when you where happy. Now you wear a fake smile, fake laughing, and hiding the true you from the world because you don’t want anyone to see it. Sorry if this got to real, I just do this all the time and I thought that putting it into words would help.
