A narcissist is someone who is infatuated with themselves, and a cannibal is someone who eats their own kind. So, a narcissistic cannibal is someone who loves themselves so much that they'll eat themselves. Ouch.

It just dawned on me that this song encapsulates eating disorders pretty well... Narcissistic - a lot of times EDs are due to a dislike of one’s own body and image (by personal or societal standards and pressure). The narcissism within it is that they constantly want to look better and are focused on themselves. Cannibal - EDs such as anorexia and bulimia deprive your body of nutrients. By doing that your body starts to eat away at itself.

It must replaced" Oh, and i have a mental disorder. Autism. I changes everything if you have it. memories, no matter how happy they are, are turned sad. sad memories turn angry. And angry comes out all the time in tears. But at least I have a reason why I'm so different than everybody else. It makes scars last longer, and fade slower. I'm glad this song is real. In case anyone else cares for an interpretation of the song: Most people think Narcissistic people are self loving and entirely self-serving, so they take care of number one... this is inaccurate; If you want a more accurate, but still very simplified explanation, then a narcissist is someone who is _self focused_ but not necessarily self loving; truthfully, many textbook clinical narcissists deeply hate themselves, but they lack the capacity to care about others because they are all they can think about. To be a narcissist is to be so self-focused that you’re consumed by it-in this case, the analogy making it sound like they’re _VERY LITERALLY CONSUMED_ BY NARCISSISM. This would be an interesting, if harsh, song to show to someone who is self-destructive because they cannot get outside their own head long enough to even see that they’re hurting themselves, which is what I believe the song is actually about. Someone who is self-destructive (and often hurts others, too, not just cannibalistic toward themselves but to people around them) because they are blinded by their inability to look outside themselves.
