😅 the coffee is not trash, Yor is quite good making coffee tea cocoa. It’s just that Twilight got ulcers due to stress and over work. He puts milk to lessen the damage to his stomach. Actually in the manga Loid even said he should probably ask Yor to switch him to decaf…it’s cute, since it shows they talk about this things like a normal married couple.

My favorite part of the whole episode was when she turns to look at him in the rain, and you see she's barely keeping her bottom lip from quivering, and tears are streaming down her face. It really drives home how heartbroken she was at her realization that Loid genuinely cares about Yor and Anya. Just a fantastic scene. I'm glad it made it into the clip!

Yeah I felt bad for Nightfall, she developed feelings for Loidy naturally over spending time with him, but he was too focused on missions for her to do anything, and now because of this mission he seems to truly enjoy his fake family and is starting to care for them as such, which makes her feel like she lost her chance that she never really had. I always feel sad when you see characters who truly care about someone but they are the ones that need to sacrifice their feelings so that the people they care about are happy, it’s not fair to them and it just makes you want them to find happiness so that they aren’t so sad

I love that Loid memorized the lines from Anya's favourite show and is using that to make her happy, it shows he's really grown to care for her, even if he won't admit it.

Between being the best spy, pretending to be a doctor, doing side missions besides his main one, raising a child and being a husband, and eating Yor's cooking, it's no wonder he has stomach problems. Wouldn't be surprised if he started to get out of shape towards the end

It's funny that Nightfall is in love with Twilight, but refuses to borrow his umbrella Sharing an umbrella in Japan tends to be associated with romantic feelings Might be because the umbrella is red, which probably means it belongs to Yor. Rather than borrow Yor's umbrella, she wants her own.

The problem with "Nightfall," besides her thoughts on Yor and Anya, is that she only thinks of Operation Strix as "just another mission," one she thinks should have been over with long along. She wants to get it over with so she can "get her 'Twilight' back." (Only he was never hers to begin with.) Also, "Twilight" taught her to hide her feelings and bury her emotions, the same thing he was taught, but she did/does TOO GOOD a job at it while he recently started failing at it (but only when it come to Anya, Bond and Yor).

You wouldn't believe how uncensored kid's cartoons use to be back then

I loved how Anya was ready to go into battle mode against bond. This really is how a kid would act, you could buy them the exact same toy as the one that broke but they form sentimental attachments. This one was sweet because the fact it meant a lot because it was a gift from the aquarium visit.

They really did justice to Anya's reaction to Nightfall's thoughts in the anime. In the manga I remember laughing my ass off at that part.

A subtle thing that flew below most people's radar towards the end of the episode: It's not just amazing that Anya knew what episode the Bondman-quote was from, but rather that Loid mentioned it in the first place. It shows that he about Anya so much that he watches and memorises that show.

People keep misinterpreting the coffee being bad. They established at beginning of series that hot beverages are one of Yoru few domestic skills. Loid has stress induced stomach problems, hence wanting to switch to non-caffineted drinks.

My favorite episode so far, Nightfall is my second favorite character in the show & the scene where she's able to see through the fake smile to Loid's genuine care for his new family is so well done and heartbreaking. I like how both the funny side plot snd the serious one touched on the them of Jealousy, great choice by the staff

5:30 “The coffee is trash!” I see a lot of people misunderstanding that little scene being about Yor’s coffee being bad. The stress of the mission and being overworked is causing Loid to have stomach problems. Black coffee can upset a sensitive stomach because of the acidity and caffeine. That’s why he adds milk to counter the acid and wonders if he should ask Yor for decaf.

i honestly don't feel bad cuz she was bringing yor down lying about how loid complains about her at work and she was clearly affected by this not to mention she already had doubts her being anyas mother, i get it she loves loid but she can do that without tearing yor down

Actually... the milk in coffee is about gastric acid. I myself has this, and coffee is acid enough to make gastritic peeps taste horibble pain in the ucler. Milk in coffee does help. All because of simply high level of stress. In the manga, Loid is so stressed he consume antacids, even offer Anya that at one point when she's stressed.
