Yeah and the games he made, not SteelWoodStudios, are good. I'm honestly not a fan of SteelWoodStudios and how they did Security Breach. Their FNAF games do not feel like the og FNAF games Scott made. Scott really knew how to get the atmosphere of the game just right. As for SteelWoodStudios, not so much.

Im so sick and tired of people saying that Security Breach is bad because its glitchy and doesn't deliver on what we were promised, Security isn't bad because it fails to deliver, granted it does, but Security Breach only fails to deliver because the game wasn't ALLOWED to be finished, the community kept complaining about it being delayed, they kept complaining about the game not being released on time, so Scott decided that fine, if people wanted the game then and there, they would cut out all unfinished things, and anything that no longer made sense, along with shipping the game out, glitches and broken story included, the only reason Security Breach fails is because the community forced it to fail by not being patient. No mascot horror game is "Bad", even Garten of Banban has its redeeming qualities, but the FNaF community expects more out of it's game's than it should, HW2 was great, yet people still complained, Ruin was great, but people still complained, and you know what, the only reason Ruin was bad on any points, is because it had to build ontop of the broken mess that is Security Breach, and again, Security Breach is only a broken mess because the community wasn't patient. Security Breach is a game that had massive potential but wasn't able to reach that potential because the community forced it to release early by pressuring Steel-Wool and Scott.

That is actually a false narrative. It wasn't the fans pressure that caused the game to be released earlier. It was pressure from the distributor to have it released before Christmas. Security Breach had a deadline to be finished by December and failed to meet it, so they released it anyway.

It’s hard to say exactly. Don’t get me wrong, Steel Wool did a great job with Ruin and Help Wanted 2, but Security Breach was where it went wrong. I will admit I did enjoy the game, but I can’t deny it could have been better. It’s a solid 7.5/10 in my opinion.

I feel like BanBan was meant to be a parody of the Mascot Horror genre, but it got successful so the Euphoric Brothers just went with whatever they could think of to keep that popularity.

fun fact : the remote model from garten of banban (consists of 3 simple shapes) has around 2 million polygons (from what i heard). there's a fanmade model that has around 200-400 polygons, and both models looked almost identical.

I 100% agree with you. Security Breach wasn’t terrible, but I will admit it could have been better. It’s at least a 7.5/10 or maybe a little more, but I do hope we’ll see Steel Wool make more with Scott in the future. They did a good job. 👌

I don’t think Security Breach is bad at all. The game itself isn’t scary, but the endo section and the daycare make up for it. The gameplay is pretty fun and the characters design are just amazing. Fun fact: A lot of security breach haters actually never played the game, they just got their opinion by watching streamers. I think you really need to experience the game yourself in order to see that it is actually fun. Unlike other fnaf games (yes, i have played all of them besides SL). Where you sit in an office and just survive untill 6. Security breach offers you to free roam and explore. And trust me, i enjoy getting chased by the animatronicse more than them just running towards my office where i can’t move.

And even if SB was kinda a flop both lore wise and game wise, they definitely redeemed themselves with Ruin and Help Wanted 2. Ruin kinda 'fixed' SB so that it could be even considered a horror game again, as well as adding more to the story. It also makes you sympathize with characters, like for example Cassie. You can see why she's that motivated to go and save Gregory. He's her only real friend. When he went missing, of course she would risk anything if it meant to see him again. He was there for her when no one showed up. And Help Wanted 2 only adds to the tragedy. If we are Cassie's dad, then that means we died and were stuffed into mask bot. That means in the months leading up to Ruin, Cassie was completely alone. No wonder she would go this far.

I personally like security breach better because the character ideas, unlike the 2 dimensional characters in garten of banban. In SB every character has a gimmick, and the world building for that is great. Chica is the food mascot. Roxanne, Bonny and Monty are all sporty activities. Freddy and DJ music man are music. Sun and Moon are daycare attendants. Their attractions are all unique, it implements a show don’t tell mindset, we see Roxanne’s bumper cars, we see chica themed food attractions, we see DJ music man’s dance floor etc. Where as the Garten Of Ban Ban’s characters come from the same melting pot, they are all the same really except maybe Queen Bouncilla and Sherif Toadster. Their personalities are the same, their intentions are all the same, they are all black and white.Big orange squid is interesting for a millisecond when he is ominous and strangely all-knowing, then he is defeated and it’s like “what’s next”. The characters don’t develop, we don’t find out anything new about them across the franchise. AND THEY KEEP ADDING MORE, there are way too many characters, it’s like they keep getting bored with their already plentiful designs.

The thing is, the devs of Garden of BanBan are getting better, much better at what they do. Compare the first chapter to the 6th, and see how much better it holds up. Also, you don’t like SB because you didn’t find it scary, which is reasonable. But also imagine if you were planning to release a game in 2020, you were gonna work all of 2020 on it and release it in December. You get some stuff done by March, things are looking up, then boom! Global pandemic that halts production by two years while the public expects you to provide a masterpiece in an area you’ve never delved in before while you now have minimal time to work on it. Yeah, I wouldn’t blame anybody but the public for why the game turned out a mess.

Frankly, if the Banban devs were truely trying to do better overtime, they wouldn't release chapters so quickly, cry about how many people refunded their games where I don't believe they put much effort in them. We have seen people literally remake Banban from the ground up in like a month or so and making it 5 times scarier. At least, steel steelwool or the Poppy platime devs are actually getting better overtime.

Remember: Scott Cawthon made the entirety of the first 6 FNaF games entirely on his own besides music, and Toby Fox made Undertale with only the help of a portion of assets being made by friends. Having small teams or low budget isn't always a good excuse.

What’s frustrating is not just how terrible GOB is, but that famous KZfaqrs still influence it. The game has a good idea, it’s just poorly executed. I never played the game, nor do I plan to play it. Edit: Steam needs to extend the amount of time you have to refund a game, because 10 minutes isn’t cutting it. Maybe 30 minutes at least. Security Breach in my opinion, isn’t a terrible game, but I will admit it was disappointing to an extent. But unlike The Euphoric Brothers, Steel Wool actually tried to show their apologies, by giving us a free DLC, and an amazing Prequel, Help Wanted 2. GOB was always bad, and probably will never get better as time goes on.

To be honest if I had known how to code and I had garden of banban first I would fix the brightness it's too god damn bright is this a horror game or extremely bring walking and running plus puzzle simulator second I will change the models of the monsters they are not even scary third fix the jumpscares they are just a repeat of the same sound but different animations so I would make different sounds and good actual devouring or stomp or smash or peck to death animation then fix the landscape so it actually make Sense instead of a Roblox obby also less of a running or walking simulator but still add some horror elements and also no bugs also new monsters that are actually decent also fix lore that actually makes sense
