Nightmare Stopmotion Armature in progress, Part 2

2 жыл бұрынI had the oportunitty to create a complete armature replica of Sally character puppet from the movie "Nightmare before Christmas".
Huge challenge to builld from scrach all the joints and parts of it's body in metal, according to the original puppet, following just pictures found on the internet.
Hope you enjoy the process with me, this build took me months and up to 400 work hours.

Its crazy that being a Stopmotion animator is not enough, you have to be an engineer and a machinist as well!.

Mi taller es mi lugar favorito también, pinto, hago pequeñas esculturas ,joyería , trabajo con prendas de vestir, jardinería, restauración de muebles, carpintería de pequeños objetos, construcción de pequeños muñecos articulados...etc, etc etc de todo un poco...solo pasatiempo ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

love your videos bro, so informative! question though, if you were to re-start your business, what would you say you would buy first? milling machine or lathe? i want to build my own micro studio here in the states, but not sure where to start on the metal machining process 😕

It is a lot easier to use and less dangerous a milling machine. I started with it, but you will find that you can't do everything on it.
