Flowey isn't healing you, I think the souls got controlled by flowey, but somehow they got away with the grasp and started healing you when you needed it.

yes...when a monster has only 6 souls, the monster doesnt have complete control over them and they can rebel. this is proven because in asriel dreemurr fight the souls dont rebel because he has the power of 7 human souls so he has control over them...

Did you notice that in Flowey fight during the "SOUL phases" they were attacking you with Toy Knives (found in the Ruins), Tough Gloves (found in Snowdin), Ballet Shoes (found in Waterfall), Torn Notebooks (bought in Waterfall), Burnt Pans (found in Hotland) and Empty Guns (bought in Hotland)? Reason is: In pacifist when flowey got 6 human souls and all the monsters in the underground he don't care about earse the human or his world anymore, he just want killing you nonstop as him will alway be the winner cause he don't want lose you, he think you as chara that's why he love you (and more is when flowey got souls so flowey can feel again, that's why flowey not like a killer unlike the neutral) In neutral: flowey still think that 'in this world, it's kill or be killed' that's why when you beat flowey, flowey want you kill him In genocide: in new home when nearly reach sans, flowey relize that you killed every monsters IN YOUR WAY and flowey also in his way so flowey scared, that's why flowey don't want to die
