I'd be all confrontational with a weapon, air horn & phone on 911 speed dial. I was the neighbourhood watchdog, in a cul-de-sac, with only one way in, one way out. I was always fearlessly approaching vehicles & people wandering in, then asking intruders, or suspicious, shifty, mega- tinted window people, " Are you lost?" They would always answer ' No ' I would then say loudly, " Well... Then get lost! " The neighbours had a word to describe me: " INTREPID ".

Can’t believe nobody said anything already, but the most reasonable explanation for what poor Lena saw is that she saw the Grim Reaper. Highly possible it was very near her time to go, as it’s stated in urban legends that a Reaper will linger a while before or after someone passes. OP could’ve maybe seen the Reaper as well because of her closeness with Lena, and that Lena was to pass very very soon.

100%. I sleep well knowing my glock is on the other side of my pillow. I don't ask for trouble, I dont start fights. And I don't breach into other people's homes. The last one especially, i expect, no i demand, and to who doesn't respect this to not just myself, but many Americans, could be a grave mistake. Not a threat. Just a reminder to people. If you go into someone's home uninvited, it could mean your life. Even if you don't mean harm, you could startle someone or encounter someone who shoots first and asks questions later. Moral of the story. Follow the law, don't be a scum bag. And You should be okay.

Does anyone else listen to a part of the story and then instantly your intuition tells you that this one’s almost definitely not real? Like for the first story when it brought up the mouth clicking I knew it probably had to be written by someone because I’ve had that same exact thought before when thinking about potential creepy scenes after finishing a horror movie.

Story 3 took me back to when i used to work at a nursing home when i was young. Downstairs was the dementia unit and was creepy to begin with so i can only imagine the fear when you saw what the patient had been describing and that poor poor lady ! I think it was purposely showing itself to her especially because no one probably ever believed her! That is beyond scary!

Story 6 - My mum had a similar experience. Me and my bro were like 7 and 8, and asleep and my mum was checking up on us before turning in herself. Through my bedroom window, she saw the front yard light come on due to motion. Looking out she saw an unknown man coming through the gate. Her craft room also faced the same way, so she rushed into there, turned on the light and approached the window picking up a kitchen knife she had in there for some reason. She basically made a black silhouette of a woman holding a knife in the window, and the guy quickly fucked off. She told me about it years later, said she’d never been so scared in her life, but was ready to strait up murder some dude that tried to break into the house with just her and her boys inside. Top Mum!
