I've seen people do things like this, and they are amazing this guy was running from the police on his skateboard and the driver crashed his car over the sidewalk and into a house fence to stop the guy from getting away. On a side not though, I've never seen one case were they didn't just catch a criminal but actually saved somebodys life, this person was an absolute hero, I look up to people like this and hope to do that in my daily life.

This first story happened to my brother. Luckily he's an army vet and an all around great guy. A man was driving erratically swirving across lanes. My brother noticed a little girl in the back and she looked scared it just didn't feel right to him so he drove in the middle lane of the highway so no one else could drive next to him again since he's all over the place. My brother stayed on the phone with 911 and followed him all the way til the cops took over. We never found out what happened. Whether it be innocent or not im happy my brother was there!!

@@aquaduarte3544 On what basis do you say that? With no actual knowledge of the poster or anyone involved, the story could either be made up or true. Regardless if it is or isn't, it's good to call in erratic driving. Such a person can be a hazard to anyone. And if you're trained to handle dangers, go ahead. Personally, though, I don't recommend staying *beside* an erratic driver. Best to stay at a distance and to follow if giving directions to the cops.

@@ShadowEnvixity True but if he didn't have the LP(or it was false ones) then that woman would most likely have been dead. Plus you know that most people do not know that law and if there are no cops around then no one will notice until it is too late. That is why he is a hero because he took it upon himself to do something and he knew the possible outcomes and most of them were bad. But he did it anyway because it was the right thing and after he saw that woman fighting in the back he knew he had a choice and he made the right one as far as I'm concern.

@Witty Witty So essentially what you're saying is don't help a person who's in a very dangerous situation? To so much assume that the man would have never been saved if the gender rolls were reversed is an insult, frankly. In regards to that last story. Don't assume that a person is done with you just because you haven't noticed them in a long time. My family had a stalker that had followed us to our house, but took off like a maniac when I shouted at him. It was a guy that I recognized from a traffic stop, a few months prior, that had occurred because my mom had forgotten to get new tags for her car. The officer asked us if we knew the guy that pulled in after us and we said we didn't even know we were being followed, but as we left I got a good look at the driver. Anyways, every once in a while I would see him again for two years. It was scary because my mom is not very observant, but every time I saw him I would let my family know. Well one night the guy was following my brother, who was driving our mom's car, so he started taking a bunch of turns to lose the guy. He parked in the driveway of a random house and waited for the guy to come looking, flicked the lights back on and ran the guy off the road and started threatening him. My brother is massive at 6'5", so I think the guy took the hint because I haven't seen him since, but I still keep my head on a swivel just incase.
@Mrsjam96
@Mrsjam96 Жыл бұрын
Why didn’t the cop go question the guy? That seems VERY suspicious pulling up behind a car that was pulled over for a ticket. The officer should have at least ( after you said you don’t know him) have gone over and asked him what he was doing!

@@supdude5194 Why would you say that as if the two things are mutually exclusive? A person can care for others without being so stupid as to get out of their vehicle. People can get shot to death by lunatics on roads at night. The smart thing to do is call the police and tell them where you saw the stranded person. You might save not only your own life and property, but someone else's if the police catch someone with nefarious intentions like in story #4.

Since Im a girl I ALWAYS have a knife in the drivers side door pocket and a screwdriver incase God forbid I ever plunge into a river and need to break a window (knock on air wood burns) but you can never be to careful. The only time I thought I needed to use it I wasn’t even alone I had driven my boyfriend at the time and his friend out of town to look at a car so I parked across the street and stayed in the car with doors locked of course, no more then five minutes after they left there was a man (mid twenties im guessing) starts staring at me ( I looked away after a moment cause it was of course uncomfortable) I eventually see him walk towards my car to my window and start to stare into my car at me then my back seat, it was only when I went for the knife, he had to of noticed it, did he start to walk briskly away. I think he was checking to see if I had kids or not. My boyfriend and his friend were only gone about 10/15 mins tops but that just goes to show how fast something can happen. I know I could defend myself but I can defend myself a lot better with a kife ( also im 5’2” 120 lbs so I don’t look intimidating) but with a knife at least I have a better chance, that guy was smart to walk away I wouldn’t of hesitated stabbing his hand if he tried to reach down through my window it was cracked a little. @Witty Witty Why are you reversing the roles? That has no correlation right now. "Had the gender roles reversed, woman would've never helped a strange man like that" why is that relevant to a kidnapping? Gender roles have absolutely nothing to do with having a kind hearted soul. What that man did could be done even with gender being flipped. He knew it wasn't his problem, but out of humanity he did help her.

#1 rule if you're in any situation alone or around strangers like this. BE WEIRD. BE RUDE. STAY ALIVE. You don't owe anyone politeness, or your time. Don't feel guilty for being suspicious. If something in the back of your head is telling you something is wrong, get out of there as quickly as you can. Don't hesitate to call the police. Your life is worth more than being polite. @@SorrowAvenue Terribly sorry if that has been your experience. It hasn't been mine, though. Yes, people have taken advantage of my kindness and I paid the price. But I've had a ton of positive experiences with good people. I used to be cynical like you in my teens and twenties about the human race. Yes, overall, we've done terrible things and we're willingly destroying our planet. But ultimately, what I've learned is that focusing entirely on the negative side will make me miserable, bitter, and angry. I hate living like that. I already have enough health issues to deal with. Adding on to that pile isn't good for me. I'm not naive to it all, mind you. I've just learned to focus more on what I can control in my own life. In essence, stop associating with people that bring you down and take advantage of you. If that's not an option for whatever reason, at least emotionally detach from them. I had to do that with my mother. Surround yourself with people that bring you up in any way. And, please, for your sake, get some help. Trust me, it's worth it.
@SorrowAvenue

@@MidnightSonnet You speak as if I sit in a room and hyper focus on this all day. I have my own issues to take care of as well. You cannot "stop associating" with people that take advantage of you when EVERYONE takes advantage of you, including you. You've probably ditched someone. I'm already detached from the world around me. I avoid human interaction at all times except when it's necessary. I don't need "help". There is nothing I need help with. Just so my mind can be poisoned or sterlised? Fuck that. Nobody actually cares about anyone's wellbeing except to be a "good" little goosestepping citizen.

@@ZetaReticuli_ Worked outside 7 hours today, didn't leave till night. Spotted car pulled over, flasher on. Pulled in front, backed up to check on them. Since I was unarmed today, took the time to put weapon back into holster, grab spare mag and phone. Walked back towards car. Used flashlight. Could see at least 3 people in car. That was "warning" for me. I am less trusting of a car load of people. Used flashlight to search around side of car for anyone hiding. As soon as I saw how they were dressed and were a family, wasn't worried they might mean me harm. You have to learn how to "size up people" when it comes to offering help. Guy had hit a deer and his car was TRASHED. I looked over the damage, offered to "get him going if he wanted." I carry the tools needed to do that. He said his car would no longer run....some sort of "safety feature." He'd already called a wrecker. Based on car model and how they were dressed, money was not an issue for them. I wished them well and they thanked me. Glad you call when you see someone in trouble, I do the same. Thanks for the well wishes.

An engine can’t start up or create spark/ignition coils cannot conduct without a battery or starter. That’s why you hear clicks instead of a dying engine sound. I had a very similar incident to the second story. I was followed for 2 hours on the freeway like this. He kept waving me down, getting in front of my car and stopping, trying to get me to follow him off of the freeway...Most of it was out in the middle of nowhere. When I reached a city I let my stalker go ahead of me in the left lane. I slammed on my brakes behind a semi in the right lane, using him for cover and snuck off of an off ramp. I inspected my car at a gas station to make sure this hadn't been the reason for the strange behavior but there was nothing wrong with my car.

My best friend told me when hearing a story similar to story #2 "You drive a honda, depending on when they gassed up and where you are just keep driving because an old truck will run out of gas a lot faster than you." Granted, there is no way to know how much they have in their tank but if drive a car that gets good gas mileage and someone in a truck, especially an older one, is following you then there is a really good chance that you're easily going to outlast them. Of course his second part of advice was "Or you could shoot at their car, that works as well."

Just last night this white van followed my brother and I to an isolated area. It circled us once and me and my brother were weirded out, and we ran to the place next door to listen for it because it was extremely creaky and we could hear it and it stopped to see where we went. We were about to sprint across the parking lot when we heard it coming around the corner really slow so we hid next to a vending machine. It was risky because if the car decided to circle us again it would have us trapped but It passed us really slowly and went to the place next to where we were hiding which is where we had been about to run to seconds earlier. It circled that location which is when my brother and I sprinted to the sidewalk and dodged the van when it went back to where my brother and I were just hiding. It circled around there again too and then went in the other direction where it must’ve assumed we had gone instead. They circled that area too before we heard the creaking in the distance disappear. When we were next to the vending machine I already had “91” typed in ready to call the police but instead when we got somewhere safe we had our mom pick us up and we called the police at home. I regret not calling the police then but I didn’t believe at the time that they were actually circling us. We realized later on that night that the car must’ve been following us for a while speaking the alleyway it came out of. I didn’t feel entirely scared mainly because I was in denial but it hit me a few hours later and I’m so thankful that me and especially my brother are safe. It never feels like it’s something that could happen to you, but it’s very much possible so please remember if you’re ever on a walk to KNOW YOUR SURROUNDINGS

Since I live in Europe, I got his notification at 3.30 AM, so as I was asleep. It's such a pleasure to see he's uploaded a new video as you wake up in the morning. It sets the tone for the day and cheers you up, knowing you'll have something entertaining to listen to while having breakfast.

Those were some scary, but entertaining stories. Thanks for posting! That's why I prefer plane rides over road trips when it comes to traveling out of town. So far I never drove somewhere an hour away or more. I'm more worried about getting stranded by a flat tire or getting stuck in a traffic jam.

I love this channel, I’m new to this channel. I think it’s important to know about these stories. Humans are evil creatures. But good thing there are good humans too.

Yes ! In story 2 I would have been scared also especially if you're driving late at night on a lonely highway. Always be careful 😉 you never know who you will run into. Called the police immediately if there's any trouble 👮🚓🔐your car doors 🌆 🚗 .

I've been watching Mr. Nightmare's videos for about five years I started watching when I was just a freshman in college and wanted to distract myself from the troubles and worries of life, five years later I've graduated and finished school and currently working towards the next chapter of my life. I love listening to these stories and the thrill of being scared (safely of course) and I will always be here to listen Thanks Mr.Nightmare.
