@@sreddi83 I think with Nightwing's time in and out of the Justice League and being around Superman for some of those times, it gave him a more compassionate view on the world that he wouldn't be able to get solely from Bruce. Love or Hate Batman, you cannot say that he's a very compassionate hero in comparison to Superman. Batman's biggest thing is to strike fear into his foes. Superman's biggest being to instill hope into people. Nightwing feels like a good mix of "Oh crap, it's Nightwing!" from baddies and "Oh look! It's Nightwing!" in civilians in Gotham and Bludhaven. But saying that who was more vital is apples to oranges because I can see Nightwing being inspired by both.
