"Endless Forms Most Beautiful" (title track of the eighth studio album of Nightwish 2015) is based on a lyrical concept or a theme. It's all about the beauty of life, the beauty of existence, nature, science… A comparison would be that if the previous album, (2011's) "Imaginaerum", was a tribute to the power of imagination, "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" would be an equal tribute to science and the power of reason. Criminally Underrated song !!!! I Loved Floor's piercing Gaze at the beginning of that song, and Emppu's heavy riff section and Tuomas on Piano...well, I love absolutely everything about this song !!!!! Nightwish IS Endless Forms Most Beautiful!!! NWSU/FloorFan 🤘😎🤘

Second single from the record, it was heavily inspired by the Richard Dawkins book The Ancestor's Tale. Title track of the 8th album, and 1st recorded with Floor and Kai.

Tuomas is a master in hisv3rd language. I'm constantly surprised, though, by the number of native English-soeakingvreaxtora who don't know what his words mean (as distinct from his lyrics, which is a fifteenth thing to do with the overall image he is projecting) . I mean, I can understand nitveveryone maybknowcwhat a eukaryotic is, but people ask "what isxan eider", "what is an Aye Aye", "what is the Devonian sea" - one even asked what a scion is. It just seems strange to me when a Finn can use better English than so many English speakers. But you guys certainly don't need to apologise for not understanding certain words in English - you speak it extremely well even when you're having banter between you. Nothing for Andrei to cry about in this one - so his fears were unjustified. But obviously feeling the special power of Nightwish. Dominika, beautiful as ever, with some very pertinent comments, I felt and as moved as ever by them. Great reaction guys, as always with your excursions into the Rabbit Warren.

You would not be the first to bring the dictionary... 😅 But isn't that always a wonderful combination? Nightwish signature sound, a deep meaning and pure joy brought to you by incredible musicians and wonderful human beings. Touching. With or without tears. ❤ Thank you as always.

Don't feel too bad about all the difficult English words... I am a (reasonably educated) native English speaker and I had to do some word research for this song too. :)

You guys are so funny, your reactions are priceless! I was expecting Andrei to freeze at the beginning before Floor sang when she looks at you with those piercing eyes. She looked a little seductive and I thought Andrei would have lost it, but he held up quite well. I think if you brought a dictionary, your reactions would wayyyy longer, just use your phone to ask what a word means from their songs. We would all get a lesson in Tuomas literature.

I think I heard that Tuomas wrote this for Floor when he learned that Floor wanted to be a biologist when she was young. So, evolutionary biology it is, then he must have thought. As for the new songs when they arrive at Floor, she said once that she asked Tuomas where he thought she was supposed to breathe. He replied "you'll find it out" and left.

We all love this lineup, but the world keeps spinning and we are all along for the ride. Enjoy it while it lasts. If you two are lazy, what does that say about all of us Americans. Many of us don't understand some of the words Tuomas uses either. Don't sell yourselves short. How many languages do you speak? Romanian, Polish, English. More? What a manly man Andrei is! This time? 🙏🙏

Thank you so much for choosing to react to this song and video. I've only known about Nightwish for a little over a year, but I listen to them every day, and I've never heard this song. That startled me until I remembered that their music interconnects, like Tuomas leaves a trail of breadcrumbs. They've referred to "endless forms most beautiful" in other songs. I hear so many of them over and over (I'm addicted to reactions) and I never get tired of them, but it was a real treat to hear a brand new one (for me).

🤩👍💯💥🎼 Guess Andrei is just one "easy - going" fellow rather than "slow" nor "lazy" one. 😉 The track you both stopped listening in the end of "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" is called "Last of the Wilds" which is an instrumental and I cannot remember have you done a reaction to that, but in case you haven't I kindly urge you to do reaction on the version from Wacken Open Air 2013. It'll be worth a listen (or 2) 😋👌 Nicely reacted, as always. 🤘😎 🇫🇮 💙
