My VIKING roots float right to the top, but I'm terrified of water so I steered my son to life in Coast Guard, with his love of justice, speed, 1/2 Norwegian&1/2 Scotts(&maybe more VIKING Norwegian through the Scotts as they didn't fight nice) I felt him being at the helm of CG cutters, bigger&smaller would feed his soul as he fought for freedom all over the waters, & I was right;he was pure CG gold, now retired&missing the thrills& fears of what lay up ahead in the dark of night ❣️I thank God he came home safe, though PTSD been rough with his last several posts... Well over halfway through Dan’s cover songs and this is the first time I don’t think he improved the original version. He’s done exceptional with this song, I just can’t say he improved it like every other cover I listened to so far. Both versions are amazing.
