Ever Dream and Storytime from the same concert are really good, kind of middle of the road rock songs, or as close to that what Nightwish does. Epic and wonderful. My favourite of late has been Devil and the deep dark ocean live in Buenos Aires 2018. Happy to see you feeling the live epicness of the band. They are like a dream team, with best players but with no egos and need to overpower the others. Tuomas has written the songs in a way that lets everyone have their moments in the sun while still pushing the songs forward. Nobody likes a one-minute guitar solo in every song even if the player is the best.

THAT scream is one my favorite moments of this show. It's amazing, chilling and haunting and shows Floor's increddible talent as a singer. I'll be waiting anxiously for your Storytime reaction, and all of the others as well, ofcourse :)

Tuomas has stated several times to have been influenced by Pantera and Metallica. everyone in this band is a grandmaster of his art. The whole wacken 2013 concert is gold standard. and the new album is worth a checkout too. greetings from the krautlands.

Nice job, good reaction, I would do Ever Dream, Ghost River , same show as your growing learning this band. Your pauses are a lot better and sounds of amazement like “what” or “wow” is allowed so know problems there. Love it. You know it's a genuine first time reaction when you rewind to listen to the descending scale again, not knowing the Chromatic madness to come. Most bands leave the Dive Bombs to the Lead Guitar :D Marco (the Bassist) is a brilliant vocalist in his own right, he leads on a few songs, including the song I want at my funeral, "The Islander" and "Kiss while your lips are still red" Both of which he wrote iirc. One of the best nightwish meme's is a grinning Marco, with the words "Floor Jansen is my backing vocalist."

I think you should really react to "yours is an empty hope" live at Wembley 2016, to heard a song a bit heavier and to heard floor growls 🤟🤟🤟

So much more to come mate lol, some of it is going to blow your socks off based on how you have reacted to so far lol. Marco Hietala, the bass player, is indeed a awesome singer. Check out their song called "Islander". Awesome song. Also, always have to mention another awesome (imho) band from my beloved home country, Finland, Amorphis. Their song "The Bee" is just pure gold ;)

Nice reaction! I saw you were surprised when you first noticed Marco the bass player was also singing. He had actually been singing harmony with Floor since the 2:27 mark of your video. If you go back and look you will see that the video cuts to him singing a few times between then and when you actually took note of it. He sings on like 90% of NW songs in some form or fashion.

Hey there, i have another band you must listen to and that's a Dutch metal band Within Temptation. They started in 1996 and they made so much beautiful songs and the leadsinger is Sharon den Adel and she has a very beautyful voice and i reccoment that you have to listen to one song called Angels and there latest song Entertain You. You won't regret it.

I'd say this is about surviving the end of a toxic love affair, hence the title 🤘

I have a soft spot in my heart for Marco...he's so very good at what he does. If you're interested in hearing something from him outside the Nightwish setting, try his recent single "Stones." It's pretty damn good! He was also the vocalist for Tarot, which has released quite a few albums...not sure if they are still active or not though. Oh, and great reaction btw : )

PLEASE READ Great reaction and again welcome to the world of Nightwish. There are so many good songs to react to and I promise you that you will be amazed every time. I would like to say one thing though.I know you will be getting a lot of requests and one song you will recieve is The Poet And The Pendulum. That is a masterpiece out of this world. This is what I want you to do. Do NOT react to that until you really get in to this band. A lot of people do that and they don't really know what that song is about. They laugh and sometimes fool around and that's actually not the way to do it. To make a story short, After the band kicked Tarja out of the band a lot of fans turned on Tuomas (keyboard, songwriter). And that really destroyed him. He even thought about ending his life. But thanks to bandmembers and his family he instead wrote this song and killed himself in this song instead of in real life. That's why at the end of this video you can see the other guys stand next to him to make sure he is alright. He usually disconnect Floor's vocals so he can't hear the lyrics. It's a very emotionel song to him. Now the one to react to. Also importand. Choose The Poet and the Pendulum, Live from Wembley Arena. With the lyrics so you really can hear the words. Rock on
