Tarja's voice is so unbelievably pure in this I love this song so much ! Tarja still sings VERY MUCH classical music That's why the split was good I think, touring with Nightwish was like a full time job and now that she's solo she can dedicate herself to whatever she wants. And when she performs classical pieces you can see that that's what she really really loves. (Song to the Moon and Vilja Lied were recommended and both are excellent !) Thanks for the reaction ♡

this is the first of 3 encore songs indeed, you were right the crowd was chanting 'we want more!', and right again it is the 'from wishes to eternity' live. i suggest checking out the song right next to this one: beauty and the beast (not beauty OF the beast, which you reacted to), it features tuomas's good friend from sonata arctica: marvelous piece, and they do have really nice interactions and chemistry on stage which is always a pleasure to see 🥰 i may have already suggested this in the past, but it's one of my favourite nw's song (but honestly ...which is not?😂)

We usually have snow on Christmas ( not always in the southern parts of Finland like Helsinki. The last winter was very good, some say too good since spring got delayed😅). The Finns are always praying that the snow comes before Christmas 😅 and it is magical😊

If you want a more operetic Tarja. Song to the moon by Dvorak, from Beauty and the Beat with Mike Terrano. It’s opera on a high levell, and she nails it.✨❤️

This is NW version of the legend children song of the flying snowman....one of the favorite melodies for Tuomas and he wanted to make his own NW version of it and result - awesome.

Great reaction. :) But this song isn't finnish, it's from british animated movie for children "The Snowman" and it's adaptation of british wordless children's picture book. I hope you will react to more Tarja's solo stuff, maybe also to something from her classical concerts? :)

'Lifetime of adventure' is one of the songs Tuomas wrote as a "soundtrack' to the Don Rosa graphic novel 'The Life and Times of Scrooge'. We have calamity almost every year, we would like to send you some snow ❄😂 In fact, Tarja's voice sounds pretty dark here. She herself said that she was still in her early days and could not produce her voice in a more natural way. Have you heard the classic songs from her Christmas concerts? Tarja regularly does a Christmas tour in Central and Eastern Europe in churches or concert halls. She has been performing these concerts for almost 20 years. In the Czech Republic alone, she has up to five such concerts a year (+ of course rock concerts). These performances are very atmospheric almost gothic and Tarja sings in a classical style. A diverse audience gathers there: fans in metal T-shirts, or people in dresses and suits, parents and grandparents with grandchildren, young people. It's a very interesting mix of people that Tarja appeals to. Some fans travel from as far as Brazil for these concerts.

I am always in tears listening Nightwish with Tarja… I still love them with Floor but knowing I wont never see them together live makes me emotional… Epica is my favourite band now but it all started with Tarja and Nightwish…

Southern Finland doesnt always get a white christmas, we definately used to but in recent years it has become more and more rare, it is looking like we've got a decent chance of getting a white christmas this year though as there's currently lots of snow on the ground which in recent years has been quite rare in early december

If you liked this, it might be good to check Jarrko Aholas version of the same song. I presume, you are familiar with the speculations about Jarkko when Marko decided to quit Nightwish. I don't enjoy Opera / too operatic singing, but that was kinda hilarious. You can say anything but that - sounds somewhat bitter/besserwisserish? (And before any Floor vs Tarja - It's Floor for me. But this Song is Tarjas. And it's beautiful.)
