Even when I was a child I never understood this stupid racism and was sad when other Indonesians talked bad about West Papuans cause I always been and am very fond of them and I appreciate their culture so much. Papua has developed a lot. Freeport issue for example. From 2018, Indonesia has taken over 51% of freeport shares, where 100% of the profits from the mine are used for the interests of the people in Papua and distributed through special autonomy funds. Indonesia is trying to make Papua empowered by taking over shares of freeport, better management of natural resources to accelerate development and better people's welfare.

wait I don't think Indonesian is forced to leave their native language or culture, Indonesia itself has many language and culture for each region and pround of it, but for the formal sector yes indeed we must use Indonesian language, this is for facilitate data collection and so on. West Papua is rich in resources but because it is rich many foreign countries want to monopolize these resources, look at how Timor leste Which is rich in oil, became independent a few decades ago become a poor country, and the countries that defend their independence that used Timor resources with little profit for Timor it self. The same thing will happen to West Papua If they are independnce, right now the Indonesian government is trying harder in better way to improving the unbalance condition : Road construction, special scholarships for papua children, gov subsidies which is bigger than the freeport royalty that the government gets form papua, Also west papua gov only can be occupied by West Papuan themselves. Indeed there are still this and that, but slowly goverment trying improving papua people lives.

West Papua is a victim of OUR governments and ongoing illegal conduct of UN employees. On 21st September 1962 our governments voted (General Assembly res.1752) to give the new UN Secretary General U Thant permission to invade West Papua and appoint Indonesia as the current administrator. Our governments were using article 85 part 1 of the UN Charter to authorise this; article 85 part 2 requires that the Secretary General tell the UN Trusteeship Council about the trusteeship agreement ('New York Agreement') so that the Council can then begin its article 87 & 88 duties making yearly UN reports to protect & promote independence of the colony (West Papua). In violation of the UN Charter, U Thant never told the Trusteeship Council; and nor have any of the subsequent Secretary Generals. IF UN employees were honest, they would insist on revealing General Assembly resolution 1752 invasion & subjugation of West Papua to the UN Trusteeship Council to whom they should have reported it in 1962.

Bruh, I hate when people exlude western Indonesia from the idea of great ocenia. We in the west are Austronesian, and papuan in the East are melanesian. And stop supporting separatist movement, especially when u are not familiar with it.
