funnily enough, sent my uncle the link for the elites, he bought me the pros. I went to training and they felt like elites, and then when I took off the boots and noticed the difference on the collar I realized it was the pros. Absolutely amazing pair of boots

Great video but I hope you highlight for once the issue of why Nike keeps pumping FG/AG stud pattern while most of us play on artificial grass. I live in Dubai and literally everyone plays on artificial yet you’ll never find Nike selling AG studs in their shops and/or they’re always sold out online. I believe most rental pitches around the world are or have moved to artificial grass for the low maintenance factor yet Nike and others push for FG like we’re bunch of Ronaldo’s playing on premium grass. They should really develop a new class of premium boots that’s a happy medium between AG/Turf by taking anatomical shape featured in the Elite and adding more pressure points on the stud without the bulkiness you get on the turf boots. These big companies are so blind sometimes. Josh I believe it’s time for you to partner with a brand and develop these boots. Trust. Me.

Eh grass is the pure form of soccer you know but I agree. I am stupid aggressive on my cuts and it's my biggest strength and a problem I've had for several tiempo lines over the years is that because the studs are a glued or fused plastic from the sole plate, they actually have a tendency of coming off of the sole plate completely in the heel BECAUSE I play so often on turf in these. I've got the legend 9 turf model in the Reacts and they're beautiful but sometimes you need to wear cleats. I'll probably be picking up the pro model here as well. I want the elite as always but maybe next season when they're cheaper haha

To me the best Nike value for money boots have to be the Tiempo Legend 7 pro, because they were arguably the same as the Elites despite the different tounge

Great recommendation. One thing I’d say is to buy to your normal size , I bought 1/2 size smaller and have found them way too tight in the toe.

not jeremy here but honestly if you compare tiempo 9 pro and vapor 14 pro vapors feel way lighter which makes me faster when I'm dribbling (its mostly mental). That said when you're playing with the tiempo pro they are heavier but i like how i control the ball and also just passes feel lot better. so basically for me tiempo= comfort + great control (for passing or first touch), mercs feel more speedy and snappy. So choose what you can do without

I had ordered this shoe as I wanted to support this channel, however on the first practice it slightly pulled the outsole off of the shoe’s upper on the right shoe. The tear had gotten wider over the span of a week, I have sent a request for a return as the product is defected. Along with this product defect I had ordered this from Canada yet the price was in another currency, to my surprise it had costed much more than I had thought. Instead of the 100$ it had shown, it had costed me 140$, a lot more than it would retail here. Im hoping for a return as well as the shipping price.

So I wear leather boots, my feet are wide, like no joke, super wide. I wear Mizuno Morelia Neo (1, 2, and 3 [beta (breaking them in now)]); Adidas Adipure SL (three pairs); Copa Mundial; Mundial Team Turf (love them); and I tried these on (the pros) and the leather was so stiff, so bad, it felt like I was wearing my old Total 90 III (which I bought as a kid because Totti wore them lol) ANYWAY. I wanted to buy a pair of these, but the leather was so stiff! I'm thinking of getting Mizuno Morelia 2 Elite which would be around the same price (found them on sale)--does the leather really soften up or something?

not josiah but the premier 2 is my current boot. i ordered my true to size which was pretty snug all around but not short in length. after breaking them in they did stretch but the length still remains true if that makes any sense. basically what i’m trying to say is that they will stretch but if they’re too short on you length wise i’d suggest getting that half size up.

While the leather is great, I just really dislike how shallow the studs are. The tiempo has a more aggressive stuff pattern, which was the deciding factor for me.

Try to lace them up a different way? Search on KZfaq anti heel slip lacing mostly used in running shoes, I found that works.

Believe or not it could that you need a half size bigger so that when you lace up. You can lace up tight and not worry about uncomfortable playing.

@@unwise4138 I tried both and the tiempo had a bit more volume throughout the foot and heel. I stuck with the premiers and really like them. The kangaroo leather is much softer and has a more comfortable feel around the foot as well. My feet are slightly narrow in the heel and wider around the toes so finding the right cleats is tricky. Hope this helps.

Hey Josh, I asked this on the boot nerds podcast. And I’m still curious, back when Tiempo Legend 7 pro came out, you said that was very close to the elite, some people may think it’s better, I was one of those people, I had both pro and elite, but I preferred the pro for the traditional tongue with the straps to keep them in place, and since that was the same soft kangaroo leather which I absolutely loved, and they were basically the same weight… Now these according to you and Jay Mike are even closer to what the elite is, however, with the different leather upper, how would you compare the 7 pro and the 9 pro? Just wondering what your thoughts are

It's like you said, the Legend 7 Pro was and is a great boot, but you could tell the difference between that and the Elite model. It didn't have all of the same key features as the Elite, so while you could argue that the Pro was just as good, it wasn't exactly the same in regards to feel. The Legend 9 Pro feels almost identical to the Elite. Materials and tech specs play a role in feel, but in this case, the difference isn't significant enough to separate the Pro and Elite in regards to feel and experience.

If you play on artificial grass it's easier to clean out the rubber that ends up in your shoe. And you have the option of swapping out for a nicer insole.

That piece does limit the stretch at the opening, just like the Elites, but I wouldn't say that they're particularly difficult to put on.

I wanted some feedback since maybe I like my boots really tight and I have only ever achieved this level of tightneswith the netfit system. Dont think I could go back lol
