You are genuinely the best basketball shoe reviewer out there. The second best is not even close to how well you do your job. Been watching your videos since 2013, and my opinions on basketball shoes have changed so much largely because of you, but all you've done is keeping up your same energy and mentality and this has truly inspired me to chase after what I love. I absolutely love the shoe and I’m glad I bought it even with the marketing mistake. I’ll be buying at least one more colorway. Yes, they would’ve been insane with full length zoom, but the shoe is good as is. Overpriced? Yes. Still good though if you’ve got the cash. Laces are also short on my pair too and I have a 9.5.

I like the throwback vibe on clips of the shoe.. I hope I wasn’t the only that noticed that you threw it back to how it was when you first made videos!

The Kobe four was one of my favorites to play in back in the day I haven’t had a chance to try the Protro but I love the protro 6 I play in my playoffs grinches and Del sols

there’s a comparison deconstruction and these actually added a internal heel counter in addition to the exterior heel counter.

It's a toss up between these and the Kobe 9(both the high and elite lows) as my favorite Kobe of all time. In terms of looks, the Kobe 4 wins, I just love that more old school looking toe box and the overall silhouette being a sort of blend between old school and new. In terms of performance, the 9 wins. These are just dope and really paved the way in terms of making low top shoes popular for hooping. Even though I technically think of the 4 as more of a mid cut, like a Kyrie. Whereas the 5 was really a true low cut.

The spray they probably use is called mould release! A little rubbing alcohol or lighter solvent on a rag and wiping down the sole should remove any left over residue from the factory!

I was interested with full length zoom despite the price, with only heel zoom I can't justify it at all. Being a Kobe doesn't add that much value over say a why not 0.1 to me. Maybe next protro :)

Warm/hot water some dish soap and a brush or just wear them in the gym normally. I never wear indoor hoop shoes outdoors and sandpaper on rubber sounds harsh.

i get numbness on the bottom of my feet from the original for some reason, so i end up using them just casually after playing in them few times. i'll wait till these go on sale or hit the outlet or something with other colorways. not worth $175 imo. the original were $140 which was acceptable. there is no way the inflation in exchange rate and material caused these to go up 20% in msrp.
