Love your reviews man. I just broke in my KD16s (based on your review and choosing them over the 21s) and was wondering what you liked about the cushioning of the 16s over the 21s? I prefer thicker, high off the ground cushioning and use to actually play in the Lebron 19. I played in the Lebron 20 but returned them for the GT Cut 2 because I liked the thicker cushioning in the forefoot and I also had lateral heel slippage when playing defense. Also, I guess what made you choose the KD16 overall over the 21s in general? I still have time to return the 16s and try other shoes was considering the 21s. I have the team black/white colorway with a solid colorway.

Thanks man! For me the biggest difference is the softer materials on the 16s as I don’t like stiff uppers like the one on the Akoya lebrons. The cushioning is also a bit more comfy on the kds, but that could also just be a personal preference for me. I’ve tried a lebron 21 with synthetic materials in the meantime and they feel way better and not stiff at all, so maybe you can give those a try

The thin carbon fiber on the 20 in the bottom is actually not as explosive as the plastic because they put it on top of midsole on the 21. Also wish you had the Tahitian to try out that those are the lightest and best performing of the 21s.

I actually copped a pair of them and like them way more than the Akoya! But I still like the carbon shank a bit more, it feels like torsional support is better imo

I broke my ankle (literally) in the Lebron 20. A little scared of the Lebron line now

Damn I understand why. I play with ankle braces in every game/contact practice just because no shoe in the world can prevent an ankle sprain if you land on someone else’s foot. I don’t know how your injury happened but maybe that’s an option for you as well

The 21 are a major difference I like the 21’s personally and hate the 20’s me and my step pops play in a rec league and he has 20’s I’m 6’2 243 and explosive kinda like a mini Zion he’s 5’8 165 he likes the 20’s and I think that’s simply cause of support for me I trust the 21’s ALOTT MORE

Great video How about gt cut 2 GTE version compare with Lebron XXI iam small forward and the price at indonesia same between lebron and gt cut 2, im outdoor user

Thanks man! I think that outsole durability is better on the gt Cut 2 but overall I do prefer the lebron 21. If you have normal/wide feet the gt cuts can be very narrow
