Definitely a placebo effect because the eye with the Haus Labs concealer looked much better from the get go.

You left the haus labs concealer on for so long whilst you was finessing the Mario concealer and the whole time i was thinking its going to dry and not be easy to work with now! Would have made more sense to apply it after you were done with the Mario. x

Just bought the haus labs I used it all over my face . 3 lines on each cheek. I know it’s not foundation obviously but I wanted something not to heavy for work. I have oily t zone and this concealer worked great for what I needed it. It was a satin finish . Will definitely keep using.

I've been liking the Haus Labs concealer a lot. The brush is great - even though I didn't need another brush.

But take in consideration that the HL one rested a lot of time until you started to blend it out, maybe thats why the application was harder

I have the Haus labs and I love it. I have found though less is more and applying with my fingers gives me the desired look I wants. Also, I think it dries fast so you gotta start working quick. I may have to try the Mario! Both look beautiful on you!

I think the makeup by Mario concealer looks like a more natural finish, you can see the skin shining through, the haus labs concealer looks more satin and your skin looks smoother. At the end of the day, the makeup by Mario side of your face was more dewy for sure.

It’s so interesting how you hold your brushes😆 I think you will enjoy the Haus labs concealer brush. It’s a little bigger so it’s faster to blend. Love watching your videos! 🥰🤩

I'm always SO grateful for your makeup tests and find the info you share to be invaluable. Even though I'm inclined to want to buy all of your own favorites, you've actually saved me money (or so I tell my husband) by helping me avoid formulas that just won't be compatible with my oily - oily/combo mature skin. I've also learned some invaluable techniques from you that have really helped me to make my skin makeup look so much better, like dipping a damp sponge in powder to apply to my face, which reduces my shininess while blurring my crepey/wrinkled skin. Game changer! Thank you for all you do!

I have only just seen this video which I watched because I have just ordered the Haus Labs concealer and wanted your opinion. On film the Haus Labs looked better on you even though you preferred the Mario. The Haus Labs has a much thicker consistency so I can’t understand why you didn’t blend that one first instead of spending so much time blending the Mario. You certainly didn’t need a second coat of the Haus Labs it looked beautiful after the first coat. Perhaps do the test again and switch the blending order💜

I actually got the Haus Labs concealer brush and it's a very lovely brush. Unnecessary (my brush collection is ridiculous) but aesthetically pleasing, a great shape for my under eyes, soft, and easy to use.

By the way, if you're interested there was one drugstore foundation you missed for your testing video... Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour Skin Tint + Vit C. I know the label says "skin tint" but it is definitely more of a medium coverage foundation with illumination and skin care added in. Personally, I'm pretty impressed with the product overall and have no regrets trying it out, but I hope one day to hear your assessment of it. Thanks again!

I bought the Haus Labs on Saturday so I'm waiting for it to arrive. I almost bought the MBM yesterday but didn't so I'm glad you did this. The MBM is definitely on my radar! The biggest reason not to get it is the fact the reviews I've seen are all dry undereye and I am not. I need to be sure my undereye makeup is good for oily skin because I have terrible creasing if the makeup is too emollient. I got shade 20 in the Haus Labs which I think will be perfect.

Good Tuesday Morning Nikki. Great comparison on the concealers. I have such dry dry under eyes and still on the hunt for a concealer that really is super hydrating and doesn’t dry down looking so dry. I doubt that either one of these will work for me, even though after your long day wear test, the MBM side looked more dewy than the Haus Lab side and I zoom you in really close and really pay attention to how it applies and I for sure thought your left side went on so much easier and smoother looking. I don’t know how you do it lady, long traffic jams and a long day at work, you still look stunningly beautiful Nikki. Hi Nikki! Thanks for this video, really insightful. I’m not sure if you’ve rewatched the footage but that Haus Labs looks so much better on film. It might be that there is ghosting from the Mario concealer as the undertone is wrong, and darker than your actual skin but as you move your face the Mario makes you actually look like you have darkness/puffiness. Would love to see the foundation & concealer face off!

I tried both concealers on at Sephora and neither were great for my aging under eyes. Would love to see some recommendations for mature skin (I am 62). Also, setting powders for mature skin.

I was very impressed by the makeup by Mario concealer. I absolutely love it. As a 39 year old women I put it on use a bk beauty brush to tap it in and it sets gorgeous and fast. Then I wear it all day and I have no creasing and it doesn’t move. We all know we have to work with the makeup by Mario concealer fast obviously since it self sets. The other day all I wore was the concealer and I didn’t even need foundation. I really love this concealer. I hope he doesn’t change it. He’s getting a lot of hate on it but I think people don’t know how to use it. I really thought she was gonna like haus labs one better. I eat my words lol

Unpopular opinion: the haus labs concealer is smooth and doesn't crease but it also doesn't cover. Once it's set with powder, it's completely sheer. Like it's just a texture and everything underneath shows through. I tried it with a few sunscreens and skin tints, zero coverage.

Forgoing both and getting the Tower 28 concealer 😅

You guys the color selection for HL is beyond me…. I love love love it but the color selection has me so disappointed 😭 I cannot find a shade. I picked up 21 and it left a bit of a gray tone??? Still it’s a great concealer.

I had considered both of these concealers but ultimately got the Prism Libré one (it arrived today). I tried the Tower 28 one and didn't really care for it. These are on the list to try next if this one doesn't work. Thank you so much for the info!!!!!

Hi Nikki. Love the comparison video. I was gifted the HL in exchange for my review, kinda glad I didn’t buy it. But, I also know you’ve been using the tower 28. Between these 3 which would you recommend more. I do agree with you that it takes a bit more of working with the HL, I also received a shade that was closer to my shade more so to conceal. When I do this, I like the look of it. Conceals and brightens using both. However I would like one that does both.

MBM is my all time favorite concealer and I've tried soooooo many.

The way you described the two cou Concealers seems to be in reverse. Is mario seemed thicker and tackier to me and haus labs Is almost The exact.Consistency Of the foundation and I don't think the coverage is as good
