Laura just sounds salty tbh. Morphe is a company and obviously money is important. Before beautygurus were a thing, most companies in the beauty industry used models and celebs to market their makeup, then beautygurus and now it's tiktokers. It is important for a company to stay up to date and try to distance themselves from problematic representatives. What they do influences the company and the other way around. If the sides were reversed, the company being in a major scandal like being a shady company that harvest illegal organs or whatever, Laura would have dropped them as well.

I just personally find it weird that Morphe, a makeup brand, dropped the BEAUTY guru, and is now all about the tiktokers who don’t really focus their content on makeup and beauty 🤷🏻‍♀️

They dance they don’t focus on beauty content lol and I agree with you that Morphe did the right thing for dropping those 2 gurus for their problematic behavior. No question. I mean there are so many unproblematic beauty gurus/ beauty KZfaqrs out there, but morphe chose tiktokers whom are (a) not only controversial and (b), don’t do content on beauty

Talking about the Morphe/ LL part: Am I the only one who also thinks that the ones who were watching Laura Lee/ Manny Mua etc those fans have grown up already and I as a 30 year old no longer buys Morphe granted I’m more on the natural side of makeup but if I’m buying something I’m going to invest a little more into good quality products when it comes to eye shadows, foundations etc. Maybe I would still buy the $5 lip liners and a brush or two but beside that I’m not looking at Morphe for anything. I still have the Bretman rock highlighter pallet that I don’t reach for much.
