Exactly. She got her attitude from her "boss". The only reason they did anything about it this time was because of how big it became. Too Faced is still trash and by extension, Estee Lauder who owns them. They've owned them long enough to have put a stop to her and didn't.

I believe that she shouldn't have withheld that information from her partner for so long since thats such an important piece of information. Sometimes being trans can be a deal breaker for people, not to say they are transphobic. The main reason I have seen for people not wanting to date trans people is because they aspire to have biological kids some day with their significant other. Many trans people can not have biological children after they have transition. I think Dylan (is that how you spell it?) was more open about it and was willing to have that conversation with her which im glad about. I do understand that whole "wait until you are in safe hands" thing but i strongly believed that if you are scared that any violence would take place if you come out, then do so in a open and public area where there many people around and most certainly bring a friend or 2.

I think it is disgusting someone forced her out. That being said I think she has dealt with this situation extremely well. I don't think it is anyone's business how she handles her personal life unless they are directly involved. I can see how scary it must have been for her. I hope things go well for her in the future.

I love Nikkie and I'll always love her videos but she should've told her partner from start. As somebody who's dating a trans, I was extremely shocked to hear it after 2 years (the start of our relationship was long distance), and I was upset with him very much. I considered breaking up - not because he's trans but because he hasn't told me and trusted me earlier. I ended up getting over it and being supportive though and I'm glad Nikkie and her partner are working things out too :)

@@WildVee Maybe she should have told her partner sooner, but it's well past that point now - and it isn't our business to begin with. There's no sense in shaming her for her, apparently valid, fear and how she handled it now. And I think that's the biggest take-away, yknow? Maybe what she did was the wrong thing, or she went about things the wrong way, but she's learned from living her life and from her experiences and it just isn't our place to pass judgement onto her for whatever mistakes we believe she made.

Nikkie clearly said that the timing of coming out to Dylan was because of her own personal experience, and that she was in no way talking for the rest of the trans community. And then comes this other member of said community to claim that Nikkie "told you to do" anything. She did not. I don't care if they're trans, they have no right to tell anyone how to handle their life and what their experience should be.

Especially because Nikki actually said in the video to not do what she did and wait so long. She kept saying she wish she said it sooner and recommends her trans viewers come out to their partner sooner rather than later. That person was literally claiming that Nikkie said the opposite of what she actually did. Seems to me they didn’t watch the entire video and are just bandwagoning on what other people have said. I feel like nikkie’s situation is different than someone else who doesn’t have such a high influence because telling someone you don’t know you’re trans and then them leaving and leaking is a lot scarier when you have millions of followers I think.

How about we stop telling people how to function in their own relationships? I'm Cis, idk the trans struggle. You bring up your story when you feel is right, honesty is always a plus with people. On the flip side, if your partner isn't cool with it, that's their decision. They get to make that call. And you'll probably be better off without them in your life. Obviously, I don't know the struggle of being trans but hiding that kind of information is extremely dishonest. If you wanna feel safe in a relationship, you should tell them and see how they react.

Cattleya Loi dating can be a waste of time. think about class for example. you meet someone who you really like and they like you too but they have generations of wealth and you and your family has always struggled financially. let’s say you tell them on the first date and they decide they don’t want to go on another. but what if they really got to know you first? maybe they would start to think it’s not as important as they once thought it was. or maybe they won’t... there are many other examples similar to this but that’s just a part of dating

In the end, Nikki is the one who is gonna have to face what is going on with her and Dylan, not us. Just she and him. And her not telling him right away is her choice and her choice alone, she took a risk and will have to live with whatever outcome that follows. That's ridiculous. is the blackmailer her property? It is not her blackmailer it is "the" blackmailer. Were they trying to extort? Extortion is a crime and if she already told on herself she has nothing to lose. Their correspondences were through email, then she claims he spoke to her in a pressuring voice? You do not speak with someone via email. If she went to the police and they determined that a crime was committed they would have no choice but to prosecute and for the police to conduct an investigation and find out email addresses and phone numbers and addresses requires the usage of precious resources, they would prosecute. At the end of the day, she's still a woman. Her journey is her own. Telling people doesn't mean anything. She not trans for fame, she is just another woman. She says her life was dark at one point. Why should we judge her painful times? Those are private, and she owes society no explanation.

It's not our right to know these sorts of things. People are only fans, not close friends or lovers- they don't need to know. I think people are blowing her being transgender out if proportion. The only one who she should have told from the very start is her lover, arguably the one who would be closest to her on a daily basis, not us.

When you turn 16 get a part time job, save up save save save, by the time you are 18 you can get your first apartment. And through those 2 years you can find a better paying job before you turn 18. Find a room mate that is a friend. If you aren’t able to move to go to college FIND A TRUST WORTHY friend and go half on the apartment or even have 2 room mates and split it into thirds.

Honestly, my parents didn’t take it well. I had to write a LONG letter explaining everything. I recommend doing that, and not specifically using the loaded word,” transgender” until the end. That way, they won’t stop reading at the first sentence and yell at you to never come back or whatever. Before doing this, have a backup plan if things go wrong. Also, I recommend checking the family insurance. If it covers all hormones and surgery, definitely get them on your side. Saves a ton of money in the long run. I love the letter “technique” because you don’t have to be right next to them. You can still dress as and probably pass as the gender you wish to before HRT. My friends were accepting.... it’s weird. People act like you died, so you have to show you’re still you. Good luck!

I think it's kind of wrong to say that "you don't have to say how many people you slept with" compared to your gender. I started dating a boy two years ago and I asked him if he wanted me to tell him about my past life with other guys, etc. etc. And he said he doesn't have to because it is in the past. However, the gender issue is not in the past, it is with you there, it was with you and it will still be. That's why I think it is wrong to compare. I may be wrong but that is what I think.

This whole thing is a mess. In my opinion, if you can't trust whomever you're with then you shouldn't be with them. If you feel like you can't trust your partner with yourself then their is no relationship to be had. People have the right to know what they're getting into. I feel for Nikki, but that kind of information needs to be shared with your partner, especially if that isn't their partners preference. I don't know. Like I said, it's all a mess.

Right I was thinking the same thing. Like most relationships begin as friendships so maybe when you feel comfortable and safe in that friendship and possibly see that friendship leading to a relationship that would be the time to share that information. So the other person can process that sort of information before deeper feelings develop. Like you said if they feel like they can’t share something so intimate and sacred with this person then they definitely don’t deserve their love.

Maybe it's just me, but most abuse doesn't start right out of the gate. It's months and years into it when it starts and transpersons are especially (statistically speaking) vulnerable to that.
