Thank you! The camera did refocus automatically in 1 to 3 seconds in AF-F focus mode in video, and holding down the left side of the wheel in AF-S focus mode (shown at 1:35) did refocus in about 3 seconds on my B700.

The manual focus setting just isn't there on my B700. No idea why. It doesn't exist on any of the camera modes, there is no manual focus option anywhere.

can i ask you a question please? I bought a Nikon P1000 2 weeks ago, one thing I noticed is that in rooms/areas where there isn't much light, the LCD screen appears a bit "grainy". Is this normal in low light or should I be concerned?
