Focusing can be slow, but the picture quality also depends on the atmospheric conditions. There's a haze in this video and it was pretty windy.

A D, You can focus manually. It doesn't see the stars well, but the Moon videos are fine.

you do have to change the video settings autofocus from SINGLE to PERSISTENT! ...Because if you set it on single and you do start your video from Zoom out to zoom in, the target will be not focused. In fact you do have to pre-focus it before recording, then zooming out. While in PERSISTENT you can zoom in and out without problem, while zooming you can get some blurry effect for few moments but it is because the camera it's focusing. SINGLE is more for is not zooming and making driving videos.....while persistent is for one that is standing and capturing things on distance.

Night video is not good. You can take star-trail photos and star-trail timelapses though.

huh? It can shoot in 4K and in lower resolutions. It's just easier for me to work with HD videos and they take less space on the memory card. I can't rate it, because I have nothing similar to compare it to, but I like it.

Yea that's true. Is it hard to take photos of the moon in daytime? Like hard to set it up manually? Currently I am already used to shoot in my dslr d3200 entry level dslr.

It has a "moon mode" And even in Auto mode it works really well.

В магазине при покупке я также столкнулся с разфокусировкой на большом зуме, но подумал что просто делаю что-то не так. Типа потом разберусь. Так ведь в этом фотоаппарате по умолчанию вообще стоит неизменяемая фокусировка с настройкой при старте записи. А вот если фокус переставить на следящий, то как раз и получится то о чем я говорю. Спрашивается зачем тогда в большой инструкции с сайта Nikon упоминается про эту проблему и говорится что это не является гарантийным случаем? Мне думается что этот текст там для того чтобы нагибать покупателей в удобную для пинка ногой позу ;)

Я с ноября им пользуюсь, жалоб нет. Единственное, что не нравится, что он не создаёт новые папки для фото каждый день.

Попробуйте как у меня на видео заснять с тем же масштабом и с включенным в меню фотоаппарата следящим автофокусом.
