Tbh i dont listen much to extreme metal anymore. Getting older and more mellowed out i guess. But i still keep an eye on the scene, just cause of dudes like this. Every now and then one of these freaks of nature pops up, and move the boundary for what is possible. Nils is a master of what he does. The speed, attack, precision and stamina is just ridicolous. He has worked hard to get to this level, and he deserves all the praise he gets.

You don’t often find that kind of power paired with that kind of speed and endurance. This guy is something special

I watched this again and my face melted. The only explanation is that he really really needed to catch the next bus so he had to play very very fast so he doesn't miss it

3:23 And the fact that he just casually adds a powerful as fuck roll on the snare followed by all the toms at 280 bpm like it's no big thing as well, with each stroke being perfectly defined having played at this speed non-stop for three minutes... Most other drummers would just do some simple boring alternating pattern between their hands and feet to save energy or flop about on the snare a bit when trying to to fills at these speeds. For most drummers, that's even true at lower speeds as well... All aspects of his drumming are leagues beyond everyone else.

Dominator does justice to his Name! For sure the fastest Drummer in Black Metal. Every single Beat seems to be flawless, that's next to Impossible but he just did it!

this is truly beyond human body capacities yeah i know there's a good number of drummers out there who can play at this tempo or even a bit higher but sustaining these 2 hand blasts for that period of time is exclusive to I'd say 2 % of drummers in extreme drumming community
